Chapter 16

" I promise you this Orlando James Ryan. This will be the only kid you ever have unless you can on knocking some other girl up,"I growl out in pain from yet another contraction. I don't see how Haley went through this pain over a month ago and is still able to love Damon. Right now all I want to do is rip Orlando's head off ... and his baby maker for making me like this. I woke up at five this morning like any other day and five-thirty comes around and my contractions start. The first one hurt so bad I punched a sleeping Orlando right in the face as hard as I could. That made him jump up with a yelp in pain. He looks around the room for an sign of danger before looking at me confused. It took him a few minutes to realize I was the one who punched him. At that point I told him that if he didn't take me to the doctor right then and there I would never talk to him again.

Low and behold it's been about sixteen hours and baby Ethan still hasn't made his appearance into the world. Doctor James chuckled telling us that Ethan might be thinking that it's too cold out here and that he prefers being safe and warm in my womb.I had all but ripped his throat out at that comment. I was in no joking mood. I've been in the same hospital room in a lot of pain for sixteen hours. I have a right to be temperamental right about now.

"Babe I'm gonna go get Haley so she can call your family to let them know baby Ethan is almost here," Orlando tells me as he begins stepping out of the room. Before I can comment I let out a loud whimper as my contractions have been getting even closer together. Next thing I know Orlando is back by my side and Doctor James is rushing in. "Looks like baby Ethan is ready to see his mommy and daddy now," Doctor James smiles. I growl lowly at him. 'Haley please come help me I need you' I link Haley. 'Sure where are you?' 'I'm in the medical wing. Baby Ethan is ready to enter the world' ' On my way!' With that I close the link and wait for Haley to arrive as I endure the pain.

"I'm here," I hear Haley cheer as she bounds into the room. "I'm sorry miss you can't be in here. Only immediate family only," Doctor James says making me growl at him in warning. "She stays," I tell him, making him bow his head in submission. Haley smiles and comes to the opposite side of Orlando and holds my right hand. "Okay Luna are you ready to push," Doctor James ask after a few minutes. I nod and take a deep breath I push as hard as I can.

2 Hours Later

"Shh you'll wake her up," I hear Orlando shush someone before I felt him grab my hand. I must have passed out from the pain of delivering Ethan. ETHAN!! I sit straight in my bed, eyes wide in fear. Where is he? Where is my baby? I look to Orlando for help. "Don't worry Doctor James just took him away to make sure he's healthy. He'll be back with him in a few minutes," Orlando assures me. I nod and take a deep breath.

As soon as I see my little boy being carried in by Doctor James I smile brightly. I hold my arms out eagerly awaiting my bundle of joy. Doctor James smiles and hands Ethan over to me. I look down at my baby and smile at how adorable he is. He has little curls of brown hair like his father. I softly trace his face in awe. I smile bigger as he opens his little eyes and smiles back at me. I look deep into his bright blue eyes. You can tell that little Ethan is Orlando and my baby. He looks like Orlando but he has my eyes.

I coo at Ethan as he gurgles which is super cute. He's already only a day old and he has my heart. "Kenzie your families here," Orlando tells me as he walks into our room and sits on the bed beside me looking down at little Ethan with a look of pride. "Uh huh good to know," I say quickly, contributing to coo at Ethan. Orlando knows I only want to be with Ethan and him right now so he knows not to push his limits.

"Babe they want to see you and meet Ethan. Your mom needs to meet her first grandbaby don't you think," he ask me. "Don't you mean second," I mumble under my breath but Orlando caught me. "What do you mean second grandchild? Did you have a baby and no one knew," he asked thinking I had a child before meeting my mate. I look at him in anger. "I had just turned sixteen when I met you. I might have been popular in highschool but I would never sleep with someone who isn't my mate. I was still a virgin until I met you for christ's sake," I yell in anger. "You want the truth. Xander got a human girl pregnant. Her and the baby survived. Xander has a little girl named Leslie Leigh Anderson. They decided on keeping the human girl's last name on the little girl to keep her safe. Xander only trusted me about this information. The human girl's name is Hannah Lynn Anderson. She got pregnant when she was fifteen. When Xander found out he took her to a safe house knowing she would give birth in five months. I helped her with anything she needed. When she was four months pregnant Haley found out and I begge Xander to let her help. He of course agreed as long as she didn't say anything. It was touch and go when Hannah was giving birth. We didn't know if her or the baby would make it. It's been two years since then. Hannah went back to school after little Leslie was born. i would go see them everyday. I would even spend nights at a time with them. That is until I found you," I told him truthfully.

"Is this little girl a blonde with green eyes," Orlando ask me. I look at him shocked and nod. He smiles and holds his arms out for Ethan. I frown at him and shake my head no and pull Ethan to my chest.Orlando rolls his eyes but request I follow him. I do as I'm told and follow him downstairs, with Ethan in my arms. I hear a lot of cooing and gurgling so I quietly look around Orlando to see that everyone is playing with Keegan and Teegan. I smile at how cute the twins are. They have their daddy's ginger hair and their mama's brown eyes. I hear Orlando clear his throat making everyone look at him. I quickly duck back behind him.

"Everyone as you all know Kenzie was pregnant. What most of you didn't know is what we were having. Friends and family I would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family and our future Alpha. Our son Ethan James Ryan," Orlando announces. They all cheer and start asking to hold him as Orlando pushes me out from behind him. I hold onto Ethan even tighter is fear of someone taking him from me. I look around to see Haley, Damon, the girls, my Mom, Dad, siblings, Aunts and, uncles. What caught my attention most is seeing Hannah and Leslie. A huge smile spreads on my face and it takes everything in me to hold back from from running to them and giving them both bear hugs, but then I remember Ethan is in my arms.

"Aunie Eigh Aunie Eigh," Leslie squeals running over to me. I smile at her and hand Ethan to Orlando just in time to pick up my little niece as she bounds into my arms. "Well hello there my little Lezbear," I coo to her. She giggles and hugs me tightly as she can with her little arms. I notice Hannah come closer to me with a huge smile on her face. " Hey Kenzie," she says happily. "Long time no see," I reply.She lets out a small laugh. I notice Xander walk up behind her with a smile on his face. "Kenzie I wanted to be the first to tell you. Hannah is going to be future Luna of the Teardrop Pack when I become Alpha. As of now Leslie is in line for the position on her eighteenth birthday unless Hannah and I have a little boy," he says with a lot of care.

I look at him totally confused. "What about your mate," I ask him. "Kenz Hannah is my mate. I know it's very rare for it to happen basically unheard of but it's true. I love her with all my heart. I've talked to her about it and you know the rumors that if a werewolf were to have a human mate they are allowed to change them with the consent of the mate of course. Hannah agreed to it. Therefore even though Leslie is my daughter I have to bite her as well so she can inherit her wolf," Xander says with a smile. I smile back and squeal like the teenage girl that I am. I loved Hannah and Leslie to death and come to find out they are going to be family. I look at Hannah confused. "Are you going to change Leslie's last name," I ask. "I never had to change it. Her last name has always been Smith," she tells me.
