It was as though time had slowed. I watched as the clock changed from 11:59 to 12:00 on my phone. My breathing went from rushed to more relax. I could feel the hairs throughout my body raise. My nails started to hurt and when I looked down at my chained hands they were no longer the soft pail skin that i had gotten earlier that day, but were now covered in dark black hair. My nails were even different; they were being replaced by long off white nails, that looked thick and sharp. My body was slowly changing into something, I wasn't even sure but it definitely wasn't human. My body began to arch and shake involuntarily, I screamed out in pain as every bone in my body popped and dislocated. The pain was so unbearable that I began to whimper, but the sound that came out of my own mouth didn't sound like my own. The pain seemed to never end, but right as I felt my eyes began to close as though I was blacking out, a blood curdling scream came out from my lips that changed into what sounded like a howl. Before I could even register what was happening to me, my body shook one last time then collapsed onto the hard cold cement floor, the last of my strength had left my body and I was no longer conscious.
