What Shay looks like after her change ^
----------------------------------------------

The next two classes were a blur, I kept reliving the night that my family changed. Now seventeen I still didn't know why everything changed.
Walking down the hallway to lunch was even worse. Everyone seemed to be watching my every move, people would gasp as a I walked by but no one would say a word. Almost as if they were scared of me. As I walked into the lunch room, the whole room went from laughing and talking to silence. I wasn't sure what was going on, ignoring their stares I made my way to the lunch line. Standing near the end of the line, I waited my turn. I still kept my eyes lowered but then I heard a coughing sound. Everyone that had been in line before me, we're now gone. Looking around I noticed that everyone that had been in front of me were now back at the tables, without they're food.
I quickly went through the line, grabbing a salad, an Apple, and an orange juice paid then made my way to my normal table in the far corner. As I walked through the crowd of people watching, they seemed to split like the red sea. Still watching with almost fearful eyes.
Sitting down, I started chewing on my salad, occasionally looking up to see groups of people staring at me. Whispering. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable but I kept my gaze down at my food. Giving up, I stood up to go throw away my lunch, my appetite gone. Turning around I ran into none other than Chase.
"Wow," Chase said sounding out of breath.
"What do you want now chase? I spat.
"Whats wrong with your face freak, tired of everyone seeing your hideous face that you needed to have plastic surgery, huh Shay?" Chase spat back, but not sounding his usual cocky self.
I decided to be the bigger person and walk away, throwing my lunch away and rushing to the bathroom.
I ran to the nearest mirror, shocked by what was looking back. In the mirror stood a beautiful girl. Her black hair fell in loose waves down her shoulders. Her skin like porcelain, and her eyes silver like like the man in her dreams.
I walked away from the mirror, pacing the small bathroom. Then rushed back to the sink to splash freezing cold water on my face. Grabbing a paper towel I dried the water from my face then slowly looked back into the mirror. Again there stood the same girl, I ran my hand across my cheek, she ran her hand across her cheek, I ran my hand through my hair, she ran her hand through her hair. That can't be me, I whispered. Just this morning my black lifeless hair laid straight and damaged, My eyes weren't silver but a deep Brown, my skin wasn't like porcelain but pail and red splotches and dry.
Pinching myself that this wasn't another one of my messed up dreams. Wincing at the slight pain, I was indeed awake. Shock hit my body the same time as I blacked out and fell to the floor.
