IT WASNT WHAT he wanted to be doing, the looks he wanted to be receiving, or the feeling he wanted in his chest — but the sun had started to rise and their lives were moving on. whether they liked it or not, they couldn't sit around and pretend like they didn't have things to be attended to.
"alright." namjoon said. everyone looked up, giving him their attention in a way that was meant for the ravenette, who wasn't here right now, and wouldn't be for a while. "we still got a job to do guys."
it was strange, trying to get into the same mindsets the usual ones before a mission. it was nearly impossible, not with two people so important missing right now. the blonde boy finally got off his chair, gently tugging on the taller males arm to pull him somewhere more private. "i need to tell you something." jimin said, only waiting until they were alone, "it's about the plan, something jungkook had kept secret. he only told me, and since he's not here i need to make sure you do it."
namjoon sighed, and the churn in his stomach wasn't even surprising considering this wouldn't be the first that his friend had a whole different side to a plan. "he's so lucky i love him or else i'd kill him for stressing me out so much." he said, only making the blonde smile. jimin just nodded and even laughed a little, maybe the first one since everything's gone down. "anyways." then he told him the plan.
it was simple, and it was deceitful, and it was everything that jungkook was — a perfect combination of everything you'd want.
"fuck yeah." namjoon said, throwing an arm around the shorter boy as they went to join the others again. they only had an hour or so before they needed to get to the corrections facility and get seohyun out. apparently sunwoo would be showing up, he wanted to make sure everything went as planned and he got exactly what he wanted — all namjoon knew now was that he'd definitely get what he deserved.
"what happens if she can't get herself to the pickup location." yoongi had asked once the two boys joined them again.
they were good at what they do, but breaking into a prison was pushing it a bit. that's why they were relying on seohyun actually getting out of the building and they could get her off the property with ease. they were also a man down, which was a blow.
"then we leave." namjoon said, matter of factly, "we stick to the plan."
it was very convincing, and jimin smiled a little seeing how well the taller male acted like their usual raven haired leader. there was more to happen, and he couldn't wait to see it. "alrighty!" jimin smiled with a clap, his palms rubbing together, "lets get this show on the road." it was his attempt at pushing the boys towards the door and out on their way.
