「Chapter Eighteen」

"Why did you guys come too?!" Y/n's face turned red as she saw her two friends at the entrance of the cafe.

"We're your friends! We have to see this take place and we're gonna help you." Mina grinned and wrapped her arm around Y/n as they walked into the cafe and were seated.

"And we're still going to the beach later right?" Ochaco asked.

"Yup!" Y/n gripped the menu, suddenly anxious to talk to Kuro for whatever reason.

"Don't you and Bakugo walk together?" Mina looked around.

Y/n froze, "Oh no! I forgot to call and wake him up!" She quickly grabbed her phone but was stopped by the two girls and they signaled their heads to the side.

"Good morning girls, and a special good morning to you, Y/n." Kuro winked.

"Good morning, Kuro.." Y/n gritted her teeth, trying to keep her cool while Ochaco and Mina contained their squealing.

Outside the window, a buffer and a more smaller figure watched outside.

"Damn. Morning date too." Kyoto shook his head and looked up to Katsuki, "You jealous old man?"

"Yea- Old man?!" Katsuki growled. "Did Y/n ever describe her type as being smart?"

"Ohh yeah..." Kyoto nodded his head, "What makes you think he's smart?"

"They met at the academy.. Ugh.. Fuck this guy!" Small explosions sparked from Katsuki's clenched fists. "What else did she say?"

"Pay up and I'll tell you." Kyoto held out his hand and Katsuki gave an annoyed glare towards him.

Katsuki stared blatantly through the window at a hidden view, watching as Kuro flirted his way through to Y/n. He couldn't watch it anymore, knowing that something wasn't right with this guy, and stormed away into the back alley of the store, Kyoto ran after him.

"Oh come on! You really think she'll choose a waiter over you?" Kyoto laughed.

Katsuki hung his head to the size as his bangs went over his eyes, "Yeah. Is it even possible for someone to fall in love with their best friend?"

"Well you did, didn't you?" Kyoto stood next to Katsuki against the wall.

"No! I already told you I was just curious." He growled. "I bet they hardly know each other. I mean, does she even know what his Quirk is?"

"Okay, but since you dragged me out here, take me into the cafe and buy me something."

"Go yourself."

"Bakago, I'm twelve! I don't have money!"

Katsuki reached into his pocket and gave Kyoto a couple bucks, "See ya kid." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, walking off.

Kyoto gripped the money, "Man.. The hell is wrong with him?" He groaned as he walked into the shop and sat down near Y/n's table.

Y/n quickly spotted him, "K-Kyoto? What the hell are you doing here??"

Kyoto looked to Ochaco and smirked, "Wassup."

She laughed while Mina suspiciously chewed her food.

"Sorry, it's my little brother.." Y/n excused herself and knelt down to Kyoto's seat, "What are you doing here and where'd you get that money from?"

"Bakugo gave it to me. He was wondering where you were this morning so I told him where you were, so we went here together. But he got upset when he saw that purple haired man being weird with you so he left."

Y/n's eyes widened and then softened, "Katsuki.. came here? Why would he be upset?"

Kyoto shrugged, "You've never really had another guy friend so.."

Y/n bit her lip and slammed money on her friends's table, "I'm sorry but I have to get going, I'll call you later!"

Ochaco and Mina exchanged glances, but after listening in, they understood, "Sure thing!"

Y/n ran out of the shop and looked all around the streets.

Kuro came back to the table and furrowed his brows, "Where did Y/n go?"

Before Ochaco and Mina could say anything, Kyoto walked up to the waiter, "She went off to her boyfriend, why?"

Kuro froze in anger, "And who are you little kid?"

"Her brother. Here's a tip from her boyfriend." Kyoto shoved the money onto Kuro's chest and left.

Mina tried to contain her laughter while Ochaco had trouble containing her shock.

Kuro gripped the money and stormed off to the kitchen.
