"You could at least own up to it you coward." Kana rolled her eyes.

"You could at least give me time to process it you insensitive-" Y/n's breath hitched, "Never mind."

"Thought so. I mean.. I guess it is a lot to process. It's incredible that we managed to come to that conclusion."

"So my real mom is technically a dragon. Interesting." Y/n ran a hand through her hair.

"You haven't told the Bakugo son have you?"

"I was told not to otherwise I would be killed."

"Just.. get rid of the blood before keeping too many secrets hurts your friendship. It's already suspicious that he knows you can turn into a dragon now. Also, don't do it anymore."

"Reasonable. I'll go on a curse strike."

"Be serious about this, Y/n."

"How am I even supposed to do that?" Y/n closed her eyes in annoyance, "Why don't you just leave-?" She opened her eyes to reveal that Kana had left as soon as the words left her mouth.

. . .

"It is possible that the villains who were inspired by the Hosu Incident the other day will become more active." Best Jeanist said as him and Katsuki walked through the city, "Even though this is just a patrol, don't let your guard down."

"Right." Katsuki looked to the side. His hair was flattened down and he had a pair of jeans on.

"This is sudden, but here's a question. Patrols are meant to deter villains from committing crimes, but they also have a secondary effect. What is it?"

"If we see villains, we beat them up right away!" Katsuki grinned.

"No."

"It's Best Jeanist!" A group of school girls pointed in their direction.

"Please do your best at work!"

The hero put his hand on his hip and waved to them without facing their direction. Katsuki watched with a sickly look.

"The answer is: to show people who we are." Best Jeanist said, "To give the public peace of mind."

Katsuki gripped his fists and huffed, he looked back at the student.

"It builds trust between those who protect and those who are being protected."

"What is this, a courtesy visit?"

"Oh!! I've seen him on TV before!" A group of little boys pointed at Katsuki.

The Sports Festival again? Katsuki looked up and thought to himself.

"He was caught by a villain and looked like he was about to cry, right?" The boy said to his friends.

Katsuki harshly gritted his teeth as his hair exploded back to it's original style, "What did you say?!" He turned around and held his fist up to the kids.

The boys looked at him in terror and then balled out crying.

"Wahh!! Where's his girlfriend?! She's way nicer from what we saw!!"

"Eh-!?!" Katsuki froze.

"Have you already forgot what I taught you?" Best Jeanist closed his eyes, "Deal with them properly. They've already compared you with someone else."

Katsuki walked up closer to them, "All right." He put his hands on his lower hips and leaned down to the crying children, "You know, I wasn't caught by the villain back then, I was thinking about how to defeat him. It wasn't that I'd lost. I'm the man who'll become the number one hero!" He put on a harsh tone, thinking he was being calmer, "There's no reason for kids like you to worry about me--"
