Chapter 21

Lauren POV

Again I wake up to the sun coming through the window. I open my eyes and was sad seeing the spot by me is empty once again.

I sit up and stretch out my arms. I swing my feet off the bed and stand up. I walk towards the table that appears to have a note on it like yesterday. I hover over the table and notice a picture. A smile forms on my lips and I go to the note and read.

I know how happy you were during the day yesterday and how sad you were last night. I thought this picture could help you hold on to the memories from yesterday. The smile on all three of your faces should be a daily reminder of the love you guys share. I personally feel bless to see it and be part of the picture. I know today you will go through random spurts of being happy and sad. I want you to know I'm thinking about you and we all are here for you.

If you are wondering why I am not there, please know again it was hard to force myself out of bed again. I went to the arena to work with Jesse on a song for tonight. Please listen carefully. It's for you.

I fold the note up and carefully set it in my bag. I set the picture down and take a picture of it. I know it's silly to take a picture of a picture, but I want to post it and it's not like I carry a scanner with me.

I hope I am able to see Chris and Taylor sooner than later. When they were first taken away I was told I would see them AT LEAST once a month. Well that lasted for two month and I haven't seen them since besides last night. If it wasn't for social media I would know absolutely nothings about their lives. I hate being on the outside looking in.

I walk over to Normani and Dinah's door. A few seconds later Dinah opens it.

"Do you people not believe in sleeping?" Dinah looks like a zombie. "It's the weekend for crying out loud."

"I'm sorry." I guess I failed to look at the time. "I'll let you go back to sleep."

Dinah puts her hands on my shoulders. "Thank you! You know how much I love my sleep."

This is true. The girl could sleep wherever and whenever. I go back to my empty room and sit on my bed. I browse through ITunes and notice Camila's song is in the top 3 already. I click on the song and purchase it. I meant to do this last night but I was a bit out of it.

My phone buzzes and I notice a name that hasn't appeared on it all week.

Megan: Can I call you?

Lauren: I guess...

Moments later my phone starts going off. I click accept and put the phone to my ear.

Lauren: Hey

Megan: Hey, I know you are wondering why I'm calling

Lauren: Well yeah...

Megan: I wanted to warn you to be careful

Lauren: Careful with what?

Megan: Grace informed me you are throwing yourself at Camila

Lauren: Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing. You caught me.

Megan: Well there is a rumor she is dating a guy from her band

Lauren: Here we go with the rumors
