There was no way of knowing that this was to come in the future, but it was well in their best interests of their dreams. But they had now become a reality. What had been things that both Roger and Brian could only wish for with all of their will and never expect to happen anytime soon were coming out into real life, fulfilling their deepest desires. That was the best thing to happen to them in what seemed like forever and it took some time for the fact that things were turning for the better to get through to Brian and Roger, especially Roger. What had been the neverending mystery surrounding the events of the night everything happened haunting him every single minute and made up his life full of lies came to an end.

Getting closure on how it happened wasn't all of it though, there was still so much that remained a mystery to never be cracked and he was okay with that. It was impossible to ever be able answer all of his questions, somethings would have to remain in the dark forever. The uncertainty surrounding the events never ceased to invade his mind at any given instance, but with time, Roger had grown to be accepting of how he was feeling and how to deal with it. It wasn't a matter of forcing himself to come to terms with it, the therapy he'd been in worked wonders on him. Now, there would always be a part of him that would never heal but that didn't mean he wouldn't try his best to fight through it, not allowing himself to be sucked back into the dark headspace he'd gotten trapped inside for the many years after the incident. The grieving process turned into one of hope and there was no more guilt in him, coming to accept the events of the night and that there was nothing that would change the fact that things would never be the same. His father was dead and that was just how life was, it happened and that was that. The shame that filled him and blamed himself for it faded away but before that, he would have to pass through the hardest parts of the process.

Wanting to forget about hard times, that didn't a hint of guilt from being present in the mix. Revisiting old times hadn't been part of the plan but before he could do anything, he mind brought him back to a time he would never forget. The day the loose ends of his life were closed up for good. It never left his mind, William being walked out in handcuffs and the look he gave him, reminiscent of the figure's own. It would never leave his mind, hiding away in the dark depths of his mind he never dared to go back to, no matter what. Shame daring to haunt him once more, the gratitude he had for being alright flooded back in and he couldn't help but smile as he gazed upon at the busy store in front of him, his dream of the vision he never thought he would ever live to see right before his eyes. All this time and it had finally come, there was nothing better than living in the special moment, at least that's what he thought when the best thing that had happened to him walked in through the doors. Brian. His full suit attire and the grin he wore with pride, his enterprise name plastered onto the front of his jacket, May Enterprises. Having gone through the rough patch in his life was no mistake but getting back on his feet again was the accomplishment of a lifetime. Obtaining his old life back, he was now one of the greatest advertisement men around, changing his ways for the better and making sure to never act out again, finding healthy ways to deal with his emotions. However, that didn't stop his usual self from shining out within the troubles he'd gone through earlier.

"You sure you don't want to consider my job offer to you?" he sneered over at him, a joking nature to his eyes. Oh, how Roger loved his teasing, that was something that wouldn't change. Looking over at him, the smirk on his face grew bigger, eyes shining with joy. He would let him know how he really felt.

"Nope, everything's perfect."

And that was the truth, he was where he was meant to be, having the answers to the mystery of his life and most of all, that night.
