I woke up to my alarm playing The Smiths like everyday, I turned off the alarm and did my normal morning routine. My outfit got the day was a maroon sweater, a black skater skirt, my black vans, and a black fedora. I did my makeup with a natural eyeshadow, my normal skin routine which was just some concealer and powder, and for my lips they were a pale pink color.
I went into my kitchen and grabbed a granola bar and made myself some tea. I checked the time on my stove and it read 10:50, I had sometime before Bee came over so I plopped down on the couch and I turned on American Horror Story. While eating my breakfast I got a text from Bee saying
B: OMG! I'm coming over now. Graser said he had an answer for me and that he wanted to record in 20 minutes. Be prepared for your answer.
When I got that text I started to freak out, all I could think about was that while I was waiting for Bee to get here. I decided to be generous and let her use my set up so she wouldn't have to rush to set up hers. In 5 minutes I heard a know on my door, I knew it was Bee.
I opened the door and Bee ran in excitedly. We both started jumping up and down like a bunch of fan girls who just got tweeted by a celebrity.
"Oh my god, I need to start getting my set up put together." Bee said hurrying to get to her bag.
"No need," I said leaning up against the wall. "I was feeling generous today and I'm going to let you use my set up for today."
"Aw thank you Emmy." Bee said giving me a hug. I returned the favor and then her phone buzzed, she pulled it out from the back pocket of her jeans and it was a text from Graser. It said,
G: You ready to record some Cube?
Bee and I squealed and we ran to my desk that was in my room. She logged in and started her intro, I took a seat on the chair next to her and watched her run around spawn. She hopped on TeamSpeak and started recording with Graser.
"Graser10, how are you today?" Bee said jumping around.
"I'm doing pretty well. Okay so I the verdict is in on if TacoKat can join." Graser said running in circles. Bee grabbed my hand and we squeezed each other's.
"And what is it Mr. G10?" Bee said crouching.
"Okay, the answer is....YES! Emma can join the Cube if you could tell her that maybe today she can jump on the sever and I can give her a tour." Graser said happily. I sat there in disbelief that I was actually joining the Cube, I was going to be part of the Cube family.
"Well Mr. G10 she is actually here with me now, but I will let you talk to her later I'll give you her twitter after this." Bee said jumping around. They talked a bit more about her flower shop and then they finished their clip together. After about half an hour Bee finished recording her episode.
"HOLY SHIT IM PART OF THE CUBE!" I screamed. Bee laughed and hugged me
"Yeah and now you can met everyone and maybe create some strong bonds with some of them." Bee said smiling.
"Bee, thank you so much for this. How can I repay you for this?" I asked wanting to do something for. She shook her saying, "You don't have to do anything for me. All you have to do is be on the Cube with me." I smiled and hugged her tightly.
"I'm hungry are you?" Bee asked rubbing her stomach.
"Actually yes, what do you want to get?" I asked wanting her to pick. She thought for a second and then an idea popped in her head.
"Let's go to IHop I haven't been there in forever." Bee said getting up. I grabbed my keys, phone, and bag then we were good to go. We walked to my car and jumped in. We drove 10 minutes to get there, once we did we got out of the car and walked in.
We were greeted by a nice lady who was a bit pudgy, but had a nice and warming smile. We were seated at a booth near a window. We ordered our drinks and started looking at our menu, I already knew I wanted the breakfast sampler.
"So how are you going to celebrate your big arrival on the Cube? " Bee asked still skimming through her menu.
"I don't know, maybe stay home eat some ice cream record and episode of the Cube, that's really all." I said setting my menu down on the table. Bee just started at me her mouth gaping open.
"Honey close your mouth you're going to catch flies." I said pushing up her chin. She swatted my hand away and laughed.
"You are not going to stay home. We are going to celebrate, we are going to find all the. Minecraft YouTubers who live in Chicago and we are going to celebrate." Bee said planning an extravagant party.
"Have fun with the planning." I said chuckling and shaking my head.
"Oh I will and you better be happy when I take you out." Bee said pointing a finger at me. I put my hands up in surrender and shuck my head.
"I will, but it better be fun." I said laughing and Bee joined with me. The lady came back and asked us what we wanted, I order the breakfast sampler and Bee got 2 strawberry and banana pancake. We sat at our booth talking about the Cube and we were both on our phones, I was on Twitter as always and I have no idea what Bee was doing.
I was scrolling through some tweets when I got a dm from someone. I opened it and saw it was Graser, he wanted to know if I wanted to record some Cube later today. I replied and said I was up for that and if 1:30 was okay for him. He agreed and so I had a scheduled Cube recording with the servers leader (I guess you could say) Graser10.
"Well I have a scheduled Cube recording with the one and only Graser10." I said turning my phone off and setting it down on the table.
"Ooooo already having scheduled recordings? Seems like you're going to become popular really fast." Bee said raising her eyebrows up and down. I chuckled and shook my head.
"No I only have 88,768 subscribers if you call that famous then yeah I guess." I said laughing. We talked for about 5 minutes and then our food came out. We chatted and ate for about 25 minutes and then we were ready to go, Bee insisted that she pay the check.
We drove back to my apartment and we hung out, watched some tv until it 1:22 which meant I had to start getting ready to record with Graser. I got up walked into my room with Bee following behind me. I sat down in my computer chair and started pulling up the things I needed to record.
At 1:27 I was ready to record so I hopped on TeamSpeak and join the Cube. Graser was already on so I asked him if he wanted to record now. He said sure and join my call.
"Hey you ready to start this recording?" Graser asked sounding excited to record.
"Yeah defiantly." I said back smiling. We started at Spawn and counted down.
"Okay in 3,2,1.....Hey guys and welcome back to another episode of the Cubs smp today we have a very special surprise today. We have a new member joining the Cube and her name is TacoKat also known as Emma." Graser said introducing me.
"Helloooooo." I said jumping up and down.
"Okay so today we're going to give you a tour around spawn and then you can go off and do your own thing, sound good?
"Yep, sounds amazing actually." I said smiling.
"Okay cool, so this is Spawn the place where we have all our community shops and things like that." Graser said leading me down the roads. We walked around spawn for a bit and finally we made our way back to the middle.
"Well I'm going to let you go, but have fun on this server and if you need anything just come and talk to me." Graser said crouching and walking over to me.
"Okay, I had fun and I hope we can record more." I said jumping up and down smacking the air. We finished off the clip and went into our own separate TeamSpeak calls.
I was getting some supplies to start me off with some things when someone join the server with the name of xBayani. I've never heard of him before, I wonder if he's nice.
