I changed into a cream bralette with light washed jean shorts and a maroon knit cardigan, I decided to let down my hair and leave it natural. I walked over to my vanity and took off my makeup and only put on mascara, like last time. I grabbed my laptop and then transferred the footage on my laptop to my actually computer set up.
I was just finishing uploading my IRL video with Devon when my phone started ringing, I grabbed it and looked at the caller ID, it was Bee. I picked up and heard Bee and Straub laughing.
"What do you guys want?" I asked them laughing.
"Is it almost time to go out dinner?" Bee asked and I looked at the time 6:39.
"Oh shit. yeah. Get Jordan and come over." I said.
"Okay, see you soon girly." Bee said and hung up. The video finished uploading and then I closed out of the web browser and got up, I grabbed my wallet and phone and walked out to the living room. Josh was putting on a shirt on and I walked up behind him poked him in the back, he jumped and screamed. I laughed and walked to the kitchen.
"You're such a weirdo." Josh said and I laughed.
"I know and that's why you love me." I said sitting on a bar stool and started swinging my legs back and forth.
"Yeah, that is." Josh said and walked over to me and gave me a hug.
"D'aww, it is true. You do love me." I said happily.
"I've always loved you sis." Josh said letting go and going to sit on the couch.
"That's a lie." I said jumping off the stool. Josh was about to say something, but a knock on the door interrupted him. I walked over to the door and opened it, Bee, Straub, and Jordan were all standing there smiling.
"Hey dudes." I said and walked away from the door signaling that they could come in.
"You look nice tonight." Bee said walking over to me and hugging me.
"Why thank you Bee, you look better though." I said hugging her back and then letting go and examining her outfit. She was wearing a floral print skater skirt, a flowy black crop top, and paired her outfit with black faux leather boots with a little heel at the end.
"D'aw thank you Emmy." Bee said hugging me again.
"We don't even get a hug, rude." Straub said crossing his arms over his chest. I let go of Bee and walked over to Straub.
"Is StrauberryJam mad that I won't give him a hug?" I asked him making a pouty face.
"Yes actually." Straub said and I gave him a hug.
"Are you happy now?" I asked after I let go from the hug.
"Yes, thank you." Straub said sweetly.
"And now lastly is my main man Bayanidood." I said walking over Jordan.
"What's up homie G." Jordan said and I started laughing.
"How are ya bud?" I asked and gave him a hug.
"Better now that you gave me a hug." Jordan said hugging me back. I laughed and then let go.
"That's good." I said smiling.
"Are we ready to go out to eat because I'm starving." Josh said and we all agreed. We walked to a local Italian restaurant and got a long table for all of us, I sat next to Jordan and Bee. We all looked at our menu's and chose what we wanted.
Bee and I got cheese pizza to split, Straub got spaghetti without meat sauce because he's vegetarian, Jordan got linguine, and Josh got ravioli with sauce. We all order either tea or water and we all had a group conversation about Pax.
"So how did you guys make up?" Straub asked and I looked at Jordan and smiled.
"Yeah really." Jordan said and I giggled to myself.
"Okay, so when I could have visitors Devon, Shep, Julio, and Josh were the first ones to come in and Devon explained to me what had happened and then I realized, I shouldn't hate you because without you I would be dead and gone. So I couldn't just keep ignoring you and acting like I hate you when you saved my life." I said explaining. While I was telling my story Jordan's smile got bigger and bigger with everything I said.
"And this is why I never gave up on you." Jordan said and I smiled.
"You guys need to date again like god." Bee said and we all laughed. Our food came out and we all enjoyed it while having random conversations, mostly about Jordan and I. After we finished eating I payed for every ones meals and then we all went to Navy Pier and hung out and walked around.
"I love the moments like this." Josh said looking at the sunset.
"What do you mean?" Straub asked looking at him.
"The moments when you're with people you love being around and then seeing an amazing view in front of you. Like look at that sunset." Josh said pointing at the scene in front of us and we all smiled.
"Joshy you're such a romantic." I said and he laughed.
"I'm parched so I'm going to get something to drink. Do any of you guys want anything?" I asked them standing up.
"Straub and I are fine." Bee said cuddling with Straub.
"I'm good." Josh said.
"I'll go with you and see what we're getting." Jordan said and I nodded. He got up and we walked over to a Starbucks that was in the pier. I got a Very Berry Refresher and Jordan got the same.
"So how has your day been?" Jordan asked standing next to me while we waited for our drinks.
"It's been good so far, and yours?" I asked Jordan rocking back and forth on my heels.
"It's been swell, for many reasons." Jordan said smiling nervously.
"That's good. You look nervous, are you okay?" I asked Jordan examining his face. He had little dew balls of sweat on his temples and he was messing with his hands.
"Yeah I'm fine, I just need to say something to a certain person, but I'm scared to say it." Jordan said looking at me. Our drinks came up and I grabbed them and handed Jordan's his.
"What do you have to say to this certain person?" I asked walking back to the place where Bee, Straub, and Josh were.
"Well, I was wondering if this certain person would like to go on a date with me tomorrow." Jordan said and I smirked.
"If I was that person I would defiantly say yes." I said taking a sip of my drink.
"Well that's releaving because the person I was going to ask was you." Jordan said and I smiled.
"I would love to go out with you tomorrow." I said hugging him. Jordan hugged me back and squeezed my waist. I squealed and let go, Jordan was smiling like a fool and then we walked back to everyone else laughing and talking about tomorrow night.
I've missed him so much, I knew I should've never gave up on him.
