*EMMA'S POV*
'Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep. I'm tired and I, I want to go to bed.' My alarm went off blasting Awake by The Smiths. I grabbed my phone and turned off my alarm not wanting it to go off again. I got up and went into my bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth starting my usual morning routine. I grabbed a towel from out of the hallway closet and turned on my shower.
I turned on some music and stepped in letting the warm water wash away my fatigue. I turned off the water and stepped out, I walked out of the bathroom and into my room. I walked over to my closet to pick out what I was going to wear for the day. I chose a white crop top, light washed jean shorts, black thigh-high socks, and a black beanie. I changed and started brushing out my long blonde hair. I did my makeup natural and left my hair the way it was.
"Hey Emma, you here?" I heard someone say from my main room or living room. I walked into the room and saw my best friend Bee standing there happily. I ran over to her and embraced her in a long hug, I missed her. I hadn't seen her in 2 month because she lives in Australia and I live in Chicago.
"On my god! How are you?" I said surprised and happy to see her here.
"I'm doing very well, yourself?" She asked all cheery.
"I'm good. How did you know where I live?" I asked laughing about the thought.
"I remember you told me on Skype and few weeks ago and I decided I should come and visit my partner in crime." Bee said giving me another hug.
"Sounds fair enough to me. You want to record some SG today?" I asked her rocking back and forth on my heels which was one if my habits.
"Yeah, I actually brought a laptop with me. Mitchell let me barrow it." She said blushing slightly at the mention of Straub.
"Cool. You want to get some coffee before though? I just woke up so I'm still in my waking up phase." I said chuckling slightly.
"Sounds swell mate." She said laughing. I laughed with her and I went to grab my shoes and a jacket. I slipped on my black high tops and I threw on my leather jacket, but the sleeves were sweatshirt material. I grabbed my phone and keys and we were ready to go.
We walked to a local Starbucks near my apartment and got some coffee. I got a Carmel frappe and she got a soy iced chi latte. We got our coffee and we sat at a table outside.
"So how have you been?" I asked Bee interested to know about her life and the cube and stuff like that.
"Well it's going pretty nice, Straub and I are moving in with each other and I'm super excited," She said beaming. "Also the cube is amazing! I've met some really cool people on there. Maybe I can talk to the owner of the server, Graser , and maybe he'll make an exception on letting you join."
"Are you serious? You would do that for me?" I said happy she offered.
"Uh yeah! You're my best friend. I would do anything for you." She said looking at me in the eyes and giving me a crooked smile. I gave her one in return and we both laughed.
"Bee I love you. I'm happy to call you my best friend." I said smiling and them taking a sip of my frappe.
"I can say the same thing about you." She said smiling back. The rest of the time was spent talking about life and the cube and random things while we finished our coffee. When we finished we made out way back to my apartment and then we got ready to record.
"Hey everyone and welcome back to some SG and today we're playing on Breeze Island 2 and I'm with a very special guest." I said starting my intro.
"Hey I'm Bee!" Bee said excitedly into the mic.
"Yes I am with Bee today and there is a special thing about this Bee would you care to tell my tacos why this is special?" I said wanting to cause anticipation for my subscribers or my tacos as I call them.
"I would love to'" she said starting her explanation. "Okay so a few days ago I was thinking 'Jeez I have t seen Emma in a while so I decided I would hop on a plane a visit her. I wanted to make it a surprise today so today I arrived and I'm happy I arrived at the time I did because Mrs. SleepyHead over here would have been sleeping if I came any earlier." Bee ended and huffed out a big breathe.
"Yep so my partner in crime is with me in Chicago and I'm really happyyyyy." I said doing a little dance in my chair. Bee giggled when I did and I just started cracking up.
We kept playing and I got full iron armor and Bee had all iron except a chain chest plate. We both had iron swords and I could make a diamond one, but while I was someone came up from behind me and I died. Bee ended up winning in Death Match.
"Okay everyone if you liked this video please give a like and make sure to subscribe to become one of my tacos today. Also make sure check out Bee and I will see you guys later byeeeee." I said ending my recording. I took off my headset and leaned back in my chair.
"That was fun." Bee said getting up and getting a glass of water.
"I agree. I've missed our recordings together." I said making a puppy face unintentionally.
"Emmy you're doing the thing again." Bee said walking back and sitting on the couch.
"Sorry, it's a habit I guess." I said smiling slightly. She laughed and took a sip of her water.
"I have to record Cube today, do you want to sit next to me while I record? " bee asked getting excited a bit too quick.
"Yeah that would be awesome." I said giving her a big smile.
"Great. I'll text Graser saying we having to film a clip in 10 minutes." Bee said getting up and going to get her phone.
Oh my god! I'm going to get to watch someone record the Cube. I'm so happy Bee is here, she has helped me through a lot. God, it's good to have someone like that in my life. Like Straub is with her.
