*EMMA'S POV*
We got our food and started eating, I got orange chicken with white rice, Zach got hot braised chicken with brown rice, and Bee got sushi. We ate and talked about life and what we were doing this month and stuff like that. Zach and Bee were having nice conversations, but I didn't know how to join in so I sat there on my phone not knowing what to do.
I was a genuinely happy person, but at that moment I felt like something was dragging me down into a sea of sadness. Bee kept looking at me while her and Zach were talking I guess so I wouldn't feel like I didn't feel invisible. I was about to join in Bee and Zach's conversation then my phone rang, it was my brother.
"Hey Josh how are you?" I asked happy to see that he called me.
"Hey I heard from a little birdy that you may be joining the CubeSMP." Josh said I could hear the smile in his voice.
I looked at Bee and smiled, "I might be, hopefully I will be."
"If you do and you go and do big meet ups in LA and stuff you better bring me with you." Josh said laughing.
"Okay I'll make sure to have my manager with me." I said laughing. Bee and Zach were both looking and me with there eyebrows furrowed, but they both has goofy smiles on their faces.
"Okay I just wanted to confirm that you are or aren't joining le cube smp." Josh said.
"Well I might, I'll let you know if I get an answer. Thanks for calling big bro." I said smiling.
"No problem little sis, love ya bye." Josh said and then hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and looked up at Bee and she was just staring at me smiling.
"What?" I asked Bee and Zach what they were looking at me for.
"Nothing it's just that you looked really upset and now you're all happy because your brother called." Bee said smiling. I looked away and blushed. I love talking to my family it makes me happy.
"Oh well you know how much I love them." I said to them and they nodded. We continued eating our food and then I payed for our dinner and then we all hugged and said our goodbyes. I drove back to my apartment, Bee said that she was staying at a hotel so she collected her things and we hugged goodbye.
"I'm coming over tomorrow at 11:30 so you better be up." Bee said while opening my door.
"Okay, do you know when I'm going to find out if I can join the Cube?" I asked because I really wanted to know when it was going to happen.
"Well Graser said he would look at your channel today so maybe tomorrow or the next day I'm guessing." Bee said thinking about the question. I nodded and gave her another hug.
"Thank you so much for this Bee." I said letting go.
"Anything for my big booty." Bee said sticking her tongue out. I slapped her shoulder and said goodbye, I closed my door and walked into my room. I grabbed my phone and saw I had a text from Zach, it said
Z: Hey what was wrong with you during dinner? I replied with,
E: Hey, I was just feeling a bit invisible for a bit. I didn't know how to join in your conversation so I kinda just sat there. I'm not upset at you or Bee I just felt kind out of place, but I'm fine now c: He responded immediately with,
Z: Oh I'm sorry about that. If you're mad at me I understand, but it's good that you're fine now.
E: You're fine, don't worry about it. You and Bee were trying to get to know each other better, so I shouldn't have been upset about that. What's up with Mr. Pokediger1?
Z: I'm just watching some tv, what about Ms. TacoKat?
E: Just texting you, I'm thinking about renting a movie, have any suggestions?
Z: Watch Annabelle and I bet you'll get scared out of your pants.
E: Okay if I don't get scared I will be very disappointed with you.
Z: I promise you'll get scared. I'm going to let you watch it and tell me how you think of it when you're finished, sound good?
E: Sounds good. Bye for now Poke cx
I turned my phone off and got changed into an oversized t-shirt and my underwear (what? It's comfortable!) I went into the kitchen and made some popcorn in perpetration for the movie. While it was popping I grabbed a blanket from my hall closet.
Once the popcorn was finished I turned on the tv and went on demand, I found Annabelle and it was $10. I hope this is worth it. I bought the movie and started watching, I bundled up with my blanket and munched on my popcorn. By the end of the movie I was physically shaking in fear.
I turned my tv off and grabbed my phone, I texted Zach saying,
E: HOLY SHIT! WHY THE HELL DID YOU MAKE ME WATCH THIS MOVIE, I WONT BE ABLE TO SLEEP FOR DAYS! IM TOO SCARED TO EVEN BLINK!
He didn't reply so I was guessing that he had fallen asleep. I got up from the couch and ran into my room, I jumped onto my bed and hurried to get under my covers. I cuddled with my pillow for safety and closed my eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.
