"So many people were right about you. It's like you don't even care. This proves a lot about you.. How can you make a bet on someone's virginity then expect them to forgive you? Chris, listen to yourself. You're stupid and inconsiderate. Why couldn't I see this before? It would've saved me so much trouble. You weren't fighting over me, you were fighting because you know Blaze is better than you. He could treat me way better than you..."
"You've said this before... I'm stupid, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. Damn, what else have your parents got you believing?" He replied, shrugging.
I rolled my eyes, stepping inside of the house. "They're only looking out for me."
Those words were just out of anger. Pure anger. First, I get a call from Avery saying Chris damn near killed Blaze then he shows up at my doorstep like I was supposed to feel bad for him. As said before, I forgive Chris but we won't be as close as we were.

"I was thinking we could go to Seattle for the holiday," Mom said, scrolling down the aisle. We were getting early Christmas shopping in.
This year felt different. I guess it's because I'm getting older. While she was going on and on about Seattle I was in another arguement with Chris.. Over texts.
He's so childish.
"Jenelle, what do you think?" She stopped. I looked up, straightening my eyebrows. It was something I tended to do when I was angry.
"What?" "Forget it," she shook her head, walking ahead.
"Milan!" I looked up to see Alex, Key, and Avery pushing their shopping carts. "Is this for me?" I joked.
"No, but this is," Key held up a bib, laughing. Alex and Avery joined in.
It was a little embarassing to be the one expecting a baby out of all of us. Imani and Jason have unprotected sex all the time but she isn't pregnant, and I'm not sure about Key and Antonio.
"Anyways who are you here with?" Alex asked. I pointed to my Mom. Key scrunched her face up, "Ask her if you can come with us tonight."
"Where are you going?" "Antonio is having a little something," Avery answered.
I nodded. That would mean Chris would be there and, uh, I kind of don't want to see him.
"I'll think about it," I replied. "Chris isn't coming," Alex assured me. I nodded, "Text me."
Blaze would probably like to go since Chris won't be there, so I texted and asked. He seemed a little happy to get out of the house.
"Who has you smiling?" Mom asked, pulling into the driveway. "Nobody," I smiled, innocently.
She scoffed, unbuckling her seatbelt, "Be careful."
This time I'll listen to her advice because she was so right last time.

Blaze walked into my room, holding his gifts. I smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Aw, thank you," I said, grabbing the gifts from him. "Wait to open it."
I pouted then sat them on my nightstand. "You look nice," he said, holding onto my hips. I smirked, looking down at my basic outfit. A over-sized crewneck sweater, tights, and my Uggs. It really wasn't that cold but I knew it was going to get there when it gets darker.
"Thank you, Blaze."
Key gave me a funny look as I walked in, holding hands with Blaze. Everyone else did also.
