stressed - scott clark x reader

i'm baaaaaaack. this request was made by @OwOyee, thank you for being the first person to request a scott clark imagine!

it was easy for you tell tell that scott was stressed. between running the hawkins av club and teaching his science students, scott had a lot on his hands. this week, scott had given his students a test. of course, the boys in the av club were smart enough to get an a+, as usual. but the other students invlved some actual grading on scott's part, and he'd procrastinated on his grading for a few days. this left scott with only one night to grade all of the tests before him.

"can you get me a water, please?" scott asked you, looking up from a paper for the first time in probably an hour. you simply nod, pausing your movie and going to the kitchen. once you came back with his water, you saw that scott was still in the same exact position as before.

"scott," you sigh, rubbing his back and setting the water down on the coffee table, "i know you want to get all of your grading finished tonight, but you need to give yourself a break." you insist, looking down at him with worry in your eyes.

scott only sighs in response, nodding. "i know, i know." he tells you, sitting back on the couch. "but i dont want to let the kids down."

"you won't let them down, scott." you tell him, sitting down next to him. "you're the best teacher those kids could ask for. just take a quick break, okay?" your voice is soft as you look down at scott. he eventually gives in, looking up at the movie you were playing, which just so happened to be the goonies.

as scott moved to lay down, you wrapped your arms around his waist and laid next to him. "thank you for reminding me to take a break every now and then." scott whispered, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

soon, scott was asleep, his tests forgotten.
