Sunday's were rather boring for Rosalie since she had decided to take the days off on weekends. She did it in hopes of spending some quality time with Luke but it never happened. One would imagine that at least the married couple would share breakfast together but not even that. He was always in a rush that he didn't even get a chance to get some bread. Rosalie stopped trying to wake up early because no matter how early she woke up, he was always rushing.

"Buenos días, mija." Consuelo greeted as Rosalie entered the kitchen. "Como amaneciste?"

"Good," Rosalie mumbled. "What time did Luke leave?"

"Around seven. I'm finally getting him to eat some food."

Rosalie absentmindedly hummed as she took a seat at the table. In her naive mind, Luke worked hard for them. She refused to believe anything else even if there were clear signs to worry about. She still hasn't forgotten about the night he didn't spend home but said he did. She simply didn't have the guts to confront him.

"Any plans for today?" Consuelo questioned with a glass cup of papaya smoothie.

"I'm going out with a friend but I'm starting to think I shouldn't."

"Why not? Is it because you want to wait for Luke?"

Rosalie snickered quietly as she took a bite from her pancake. "No, it's not that."

"Then?"

"Remember the guy I told you about? My new friend?"

"The florist?"

"Him, yes. Well, we went out to eat a while back– as friends of course–and we bumped into his best friend. Thing is, Erick is in love with her but she's with some rich married man."

"I'm not understanding yet. What is the problem with Erick then?"

"He told her that I was his girlfriend."

Consuelo's almost comical expression coaxed Rosalie to laugh but she was too immerse in her situation.

"Dios mío..." Consuelo muttered. "Didn't you tell him you were married?"

"Of course I did! He said he panicked and that the jealousy got the best of him. He reassured me that it wouldn't happen it again because I was most likely not going to see her again."

"Y ahora?"

Rosalie whined into hands, shaking her head in confusion. "She invited him to this fancy dinner party. He got mad at her again and told her that he was going to bring me."

"As his girlfriend?"

"Yes," Rosalie cried. "But now I'm overthinking it because it's wrong! I'm a married woman, Conchito. I can't be doing that stuff!"

"You are right. You shouldn't be doing that no matter how bad things are, you shouldn't. Tell him before it's too late."
