"Are you serious?" Zabdiel chuckled with a mouthful of m&m's inside his mouth.

Adira giggled, grabbing a handful of the candy herself. "Very. Rosalie's dad was ready to kill."

"Me siento mal," Zabdiel sighed, pushing the brown plastic bag full of candy to the side. "I basically helped Luke cover up his infidelity."

"It's not your fault, Zab," Adira repeated to him. "You didn't know. Rosalie isn't mad at you so you shouldn't be upset with yourself either."

"I feel bad for Rosie. She didn't deserve that scumbag."

Adira nodded, crumbling the m&m wrapper and tossing it into the bin. "But wanna know what?"

"What?"

"I think Rosie's true love is very close by."

"Who?" He cluelessly questioned, tilting his head as he tried to guess who it was.

"Erick, Zabdiel!" Adira emphasized with a huge excited grin on her face. "He's literally perfect for her."

"Erick Colon?" Zabdiel laughed incredulously. "Baby, he's super in love with someone else."

Adira's fell at this new information, she slowly sunk into her position and pouted. "What?"

"He's in love with his best friend but she's taken. She dating this married guy."

This was enough to revive the tiny bit of hope Adira had, her eagerness reappearing. "Then it can still work out. Have you talked to him recently?"

"Not really," Zabdiel said with a gloomy face. "You know how busy it can get at the firm and well the free time I do get... I spend it with my baby."

"Oh shut it," Adira blushed as she playfully hit him on the shoulder.

"Ven aquí, amor," Zabdiel smiled, pulling his girlfriend by the arm and wrapping his arms around her loosely. "You have a plan so tell me before I attack you with puro besos."

Adira smiled at this, pecking his lips quickly before settling down in her spot. "We need to get Erick and Rosalie together."

"I'm fine with that pero nena, don't you think we should let Rosalie heal a bit? I mean, yes, Luke didn't love her but we both know Rosalie really loved him."

Adira sadly sighed, nodding at his words. "Yeah I know but we should at least make them get closer to one another. Rosalie already finds Erick attractive but we don't know how he feels about her. Our mission right now is to make Erick forget about his gold digging friend."

"So you want me to talk to Erick?"

"Yes."

"Ok..." Zabdiel said before smirking. "But why don't we focus on our mission first?"

Adira tried to bite back her smile. "Our mission? What could that be? I don't know what you're-"

Adira wasn't even able to finish her sentence because before she could even do that, Zabdiel had over his shoulder and up to his room.

Zabdiel decided that a Sunday morning was perfect to meet up with Erick. He truly had missed spending time with the younger boy so he wasn't doing anything obligated. Besides, Erick needed to forget Rosalia. She was constantly leading him on, keeping him as a back up and Zabdiel hated that. He always tried to tell Erick that Rosalia wasn't worth it but Erick was well-known for being quite stubborn.

"Late as always," Erick commented with some tsking sounds. "Adira has you whipped."

Zabdiel laughed, hugging his friend before the two sat back down. "You know traffic can still be heavy on Sunday's. Did you order already?"

Erick nodded as he placed the menus at the corner of the table. "Pancakes, sausage and hash browns."

Erick and Zabdiel loved ihop and it was there go-to place whenever they had to meet up with one another. They always order the same thing unless they really felt like switching things up.

"What have you been up to?" Zabdiel asked, reaching for the glass of water and taking a sip from it.

"Nothing much," Erick grimaced. "Studying, store... that's pretty much it."

Zabdiel hummed, biting down on his straw as he tried to read his friend. "Como vas con Rosalia?"

"Rosalia?" Erick questioned. "Fine, I guess. We haven't talked in a while. I'm assuming she's spending all the time she can with her boyfriend until his wife comes back."

"You haven't texted her?"

Erick shook his head nonchalantly as he too took a sip from his drink. "No, didn't bother. If I'm being honest, she hasn't been on my mind lately."

This is what Zabdiel wanted to hear because when was Rosalia not on Erick's mind? "Really?"

"No se bro," Erick mumbled. "Estoy bien desilusionado con ella. She's let me down. I don't see her the same way I think."

"Te entiendo," Zabdiel scoffed. "I mean she's going out with a man who's married and has kids."

"And I feel way worse about her now."

"More?"

"Yes, more." Erick sighed as he took a sugar packet from the black container in front of him. "She shouldn't be doing that. She's going to hurt an entire family. His kids will be disappointed but the wife? Not only that but she'll be heartbroken because apparently she really loves him."

Zabdiel was beginning to understand the strange guilt Erick was building up. "Well now you're actually thinking about it."

"It's because of Rosalie," Erick frowned. "She was so heartbroken when she found about her husband cheating on her and never loved her. He wasted her time. He broke her and he doesn't even care? Eso me enoja. And here goes Rosalia, the girl I supposedly "love," doing the same thing to another innocent woman."

Zabdiel lightly smiled at Erick's reaction. He didn't expect for Erick to feel so deeply about Rosalie already but it was nice to see that he truly cared about her. Adira was right, the two deserved to be happy and what better way then to get them together?

"You really care about her don't you?"

"Yeah, I do. She didn't deserve any of this, Zab. She's really sweet. She has a career, she's so smart. Apart from that, she's crazy beautiful. What guy would let go of that? Más bien, dime hermano, como no enamórate?"
