I stood in front of the large pair of double doors. Six words echoed in my mind it's me, save them, you can't. That's all I could think about. I glanced at the keys to the building and then at the clock on my phone, 11:49 P.M., eleven minutes until my shift starts. I went inside and went to my room.
"Ok, what do I do now?" I asked myself. I glanced at the clock, 11:57. "Yay, six hours of boredom."
"Hello, hello hey it's Luca y'know the Lucario from earlier," the phone started playing a pre-recorded message.
"Hm, I guess there's more to this job than I thought," I joked.
"Um, ok first things first. look on your desk, there should be a tablet on your desk. Pick it up and you should notice twelve cameras."
"Ok, tablet, tablet. Ah, found it!"
"So you should notice the animatronics in each room, three of them should be in the game area, one in kids cove, one I'm the game area, and four in the back room. Due to the placement of the camera you can only see three. Also there's a music box you will need to wind it up I'll explain later, you'll find it in the prize corner video feed. Make sure it doesn't wind down. So first let me tell you, keep an eye on the animatronics. If they haven't already, the animatronics will move around. It's kind of hard to explain why but the theory is at night it gets all quiet and since they're programmed to entertain pokemon they think they're in the wrong room and will track down any noise they can hear. Now, we made the music box to keep them away from the office but it only effects one. Also at night something in their programming glitches out and they think anyone in the building at this time is an intruder. Since part of their programming tells them to get rid of intruders by any means necessary, if they see you they will try to stuff you in a suit. That is something you don't want, you see it wouldn't be so bad if the suits weren't full of metal pieces and electronic devices. So we found a way to hide from them. You don't really have any doors so if they are anywhere near you just put on the Twilight mask we have provided you underneath the desk. They'll identify you as one of them and leave. Oh, one more thing if you can't find something use the flashlight, it'll work on the cameras and the hallway in front of you. Keep in mind it can run out of battery but the building can't. So um, have a good night wind up the music box, keep an eye on the animatronics, use the mask and everything should be fine, bye."
"That is not ok!" I looked at the screen they were all there, I quickly switched over to the prize camera video feed and wound up the music box. I switched back over to the show stage. Frost, Razor, wait- WHERE'S SPLASH!? I flipped spaztically. I used the flashlight on the cameras, then I found him.
"He's in party room three, so he's not here yet. phew." I sighed in relief. I noticed an orange warning next to cam eleven and switched over. The music box was winding down. I quickly wound it back up. I don't want to know what happens when it goes all the way down!
I switched back to the show stage camera. There was only one animatronic on stage, Frost. Where's Razor?!
I checked the main hall camera, there he was. But this time his eyes were white pin pricks surrounded by black and he had a huge creepy grin, and you want to know the worst part? He was right in front of the camera, staring right at me. Do they know I'm here?!
I wound the music box back up and switched back to party room three. Splash wasn't there. I checked the main hallway, not there. I looked in front of me and in the air vents, not there. I checked the other party rooms, there. Party room four, staring straight into the camera. He had his face pressed right onto it. Yup, definitely know I'm here!
I started hearing strange noises getting closer. I checked the cameras, Splash was now in party room two going into the air vents, great. Frost was no longer on stage, I found her in the game area, hey look a full house. And Razor was- WAIT RAZOR'S NOT ON CAMERA!
I panicked. I wound up the music box, I don't think it helped but I did it anyway. Then I pulled down the camera. I lifted my flashlight and shone it down the hallway. There he was, standing there, cupcake in hand. He just stood there. I didn't know what to do, so I took the mask and put it on. I think Luca told me that I need to use the mask right?!
The creepy noises stopped and I pulled down my mask. No Razor. I picked up the tablet. He wasn't on the show stage so I checked the party rooms. He was in party room four. It kinda looked like he was offering me the cupcake, yea right.
I started hearing banging, so I switched to the air vent cameras, Splash was crawling through them. Well isn't that just great?!
I saw another orange warning. I switched to the prize corner camera and wound up the music box. I looked back at the air vent cameras, Splash wasn't there. I pulled down the tablet and checked the air vent lights. HE WAS RIGHT THERE!
I pulled up the mask. The lights started flickering and humming. I heard something crawling out of the air vent, just as the air vent noises stopped I saw Splash staring right into the eyes of the mask. His eyes were wide open and he had a large, unsettling smile. I heard more banging, when the banging stopped the lights stopped flickering.
"Holy crud, I'm not gonna make it. Either I'm gonna have a heart attack or they're gonna kill me!" I was hyperventilating. I looked back at the clock, 5:58. It's almost over, you can make it two minutes.
I started hearing strange noises again. I used my flashlight, there was its source. Frost was standing right outside my door. She had white pin pricked eyes and a "dead" expression on her face. I grabbed the mask and almost dropped it. I finally got the mask on just as the clock struck 6:00. Frost walked away and everything got quiet.
"Is it over?" I asked myself pulling down the Twilight mask. I stared at the large hallway, nothing. I got up grabbed my keys and my phone. I left this evil place, I was about to go out the door but for some reason I looked back at the animatronics. They just stood there. These things aren't all pizza and cake after all.
