Y/N POV

I was sitting with Josie at our usual lunch table, the perfect spot. Very well rounded table, with the best seats. Kind of booth like.

Meanwhile everyone stares at us, cause technically they are the cool kids, then there's me.

I only "fit in" because of Josie, if I weren't her best friend I'd be a social suicide case, according to her side kick at least.

This school has a drama blog that talks about all the things we've done, or doing. So according to Josies worker, I'm nothing without her.

They all started laughing then got quiet and looked a certain direction.

"Whats going on?" I asked quietly to Damian, the perv of the group that hangs out with us 24/7.

"New hot girl alert." He whispered back and got up.

"Damian! What are you doing! The blog is gonna write about you?" Josie said sounding a little... jealous.

"Does your life really depend on a stupid blog Josie?" Damian asked turning around to look at her and give her some finger guns. Josie scoffed and put her head down. "Cristal! Make your research! Who is this girl?" Josie demanded getting back up.

"I'm on it Ma'am!" Cristal said quickly grabbing her laptop and searching her up.

"Are you really gonna do this? She is new and everyone gets hit on by Damian so why be jealous?" I asked.

"Because you fucking idiot, Damian makes me feel better, he is the only one that I want in life, besides, he isn't the embarrassment of the group." She replied, "Oh?" My blood boiled.

"Well since I'm the embarrassing one, I guess I'll go then." I said grabbing my backpack and lunch tray.

"Y/N! Wait! I didn't mean it like that, please-" "Don't start Josie, just, go with Damian. The only thing he truly wants is his wet dick in anyone's mouth." I interrupted.

"Y/N-" I walked out before she could finish. Before I made any friends, I sat behind a huge tree.

It was quiet. No one bothered me. So I chose that spot.

I sighed. "Bad day?" Someone asked. I didn't dare ask who it was.

"Very." I replied.

"Well I'd say the same but things are starting to look up." The female voice said.

"I'm new by the way." She said. I turned around to see who was sitting on the opposite side of the tree.

"Oh, hey Adora." I said.

She shivered, as if what I said bothered her. Weird.

"H-hey, look, do you know everyone here?" Adora asked. "I mean, yeah, I've been here for a semester so far. Why?" I asked.

"I need your help, you know everything about this place, do you know where I can find Glimmer and Bow?" She asked.

"They are always together with their little gay group according to Josie." I said.

"Wha- can you show me their location?" She asked. "No can do, if anyone sees me with those kids, it will be the social suicide." I replied laying my head on the trunk.

My eyes started to drift close until I felt something in front of me.

"W-WOAH! Personal space!" I shouted, she was inches away.

"Listen Y/N. I need to talk to them, unlike you, I don't care, my life does not depend on a stupid opinion , what someone sees me doing doesn't not represent my whole life, so help me god before I got take damians offer." She said while pinning me against the tree.

"Alright! Alright! I'll take you. But you have to promise you won't tell anyone about me hanging out with you guys." I said.

"Deal. Now let's go." She said finally releasing me.

"Fine." I said while getting up.
