Y/N's POV
I knocked on Josie's window, She got up from the floor scared, she saw me then sighed. She opened the window slowly so it won't make noise. "Thought you were with 'Adora'" she glared.
"Can I stay here?" I asked quietly. "JOSIE SHUT THE FUCK UP!" her mom banged the door. Josie looked at me, I took out my hand for her to hold. "Let's go." I said. "Just for you to leave again? No thank you." I remembered how I called out Adora for leaving Catra in the other dimension, yet I was doing the same thing with Josie.
"Josie, I am sorry, I was a bad friend." I said quietly. "It's fine." she whispered. We heard glass smash her door. "Is she drunk?" I asked. She nodded.
"Come on." I said.
Once we made it to a safe distance, I hugged her tight. "You okay?" I asked. She started bawling her eyes out. "It's all my fault! I am fucking toxic! I am turning into my mom! I am making people leave me! Everyone! First my dad, my sister, now you." she struggled but managed to say.
"It is not your fault." I said and comforted her by rubbing circles on her back. "If anything, they would love to take you with them." I said. "And you aren't like your mom." I continued, "You are smart, funny, independent, loyal..."
I pecked her head. "You deserve the best." I said. She sniffed, "I don't think I do." she said wiping her nose with her shirt. "You do. You are in a bad place, but when you turn 18, you get the hell out of there... somewhere out there is a better world and place for you." I smiled. She looked at me then chuckled.
"I'm so sorry.. for what I said... I never meant to hurt you." she said.
"You are fine, I am sorry too... for leaving you out." I let out a sigh.
"Hey! It's fine, as long as we can have these talks I am fine.." she confessed.
"You bet." I hugged her. I couldn't stay at her house because if I did, her mom would hit her, so I dropped her off, then walked home. I hugged my arms. It was 3 am. And I had no idea what was gonna happen to Adora and I.
I climbed up to my window and opened it. Maybe she was asleep.
"Y/N?" Adora got up alerted, with glassy eyes.
