"So..." BamBam glanced over at the boy solely focused on the gun in his hand, a handful of bullets in his other. "Chan," he called out to earn his attention, but his response was nothing more than a frustrated sigh. "Are you listeni-"

"Are you ready?" he cleared his throat, continuing to load the cartridges, "get your stuf-"

The pistol was snatched from his grip and he found himself narrowing his eyes at BamBam, his arm outreached towards him as if asking for his gun back.

"Stop playing around."

"You're going through with this?" BamBam fixated his eyes on the loaded gun before starting to unload it, the bullets falling from his hand to the floor, "is it necessary? Or are you just scared?"

"Scared?" he chuckled, his footsteps moving closer to where BamBam stood, "don't forget your place." He finally snatches the pistol back, his hand gripping it tightly.

"What's my place?" he sniggered, nudging him as he walked past. "Beside you? Or behind you?"

"What's your problem?" Chan snapped, "why're you so against it?"

"Do the others know?" he frowned, "or are you keeping it from them, too?"

"Sorry?" Chan looked just as confused as BamBam, but continued to question him over the situation, "what do you think I'm keeping from you?"

"We're bringing Peniel in for questioning, right?"

Chan nodded hesitantly.

"So, are you really scared?" he looked down at the gun in Chan's grip, his eyes rolling as Chan pulled it behind him, "did the boss give it to you?"

"You think I listen to everything my dad tells me to do?" he brushed BamBam's question off, making his way towards the door.

"Yes," he shrugged, following him out of the room, "don't you?"

Chan focused his attention on Jeongin, who was now passing the two of them with his phone tightly clenched in his hand.

"I hope you're looking for the coordinates, Jeongin," he sighed, pulling his bag over his shoulders.

"Uh," Jeongin stared at his thumbs, continuing to text before returning his attention to Chan, who had now stopped in the centre of the room to glare at him, "almost."

"Get it done," he tutted, glancing over at BamBam, "are you ready?"

He had no choice but to nod and follow him out to the car. BamBam noticed how he seemed to stare down at the gun in his hand, as if he was questioning its ability. There was no reason for him to take it with him, so why did he hold onto it so tightly? Why was he refusing to leave without some kind of protection?

Chan couldn't help but question himself about it. The only reason he was taking it was for protection, that was always his initial thought. Yet, he'd never once used it. Unless he was being shot at, he'd kept his gun tucked away without a single thought of it. He'd just been forced into taking it.

"Pull over to your right," Jeongin spoke through to Chan's ear piece, his voice also following through to BamBam's.

Chan looked over at BamBam frowning, sighing once he shrugged his shoulders and nodded to the road beside them.

"Did you find his coordinates?" Chan gazed at the rear view mirror, looking at the pistol sat in the back seat. "Let's go," he nodded to BamBam.

"Hey," he called, turning to face him, "aren't you forgetting something?"

Without another word, Chan left the vehicle, waiting for BamBam to follow him across the road.

"Can you hear me?" he spoke through his ear piece, waiting for Jeongin's response.
