Eun's POV
Chan left not too long ago, and I figured that this was the perfect opportunity. I knew I shouldn't, I desperately wanted to stay here... But I couldn't. I had to do what I was told, I needed to focus on the mission I was given. I needed to go back to Daehyun.
I was already dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie, there was nothing else I could wear, I just needed to make sure I was hidden well. I traded in the grey hoodie for a black one hidden in Chan's wardrobe.
Since I previously found a gun in his drawers, I thought I should search more. I needed to find something, Seungmin was just outside the door and if he heard me trying to leave he'd kill me...
I began to rummage through his stuff, trying to stay as quiet as possible. Eventually, I pulled out a handgun from the bottom of his drawer, dragging it out with a grin on my face. Before I could place it in my pocket, I turned around to see Seungmin stood in the doorway, his brows knotted.
"See, this is why I never offer to stay in and look after hostages." He sighed, pulling his gun from his back pocket. "Hand over the gun." He nodded to the gun in my hand, glaring at it intently.
"Seungmin-"
"Ah, you know my name." He smirked, aiming the gun between my eyes, "Don't you think it's unfair that you know my name but I don't know yours?"
"Maybe, but that's what makes it so fun."
"So, tell me. Who are you?" He growled, stepping closer to me.
"Me?" I raised a brow, also stepping forwards. "I'm no one special."
"A name would be nice."
"How about Chan's fuck buddy? Hm? That suits well, don't you think?"
"I prefer Chan's toy, but...whatever works for you."
I began to take more steps forward, smirking as he started to step back. He was clearly afraid of me, he would've taken the shot by now if he wasn't.
"Go ahead. Shoot me." I grinned.
"I'm afraid I can't do that."
"Are you scared?"
"Should I be?"
"Well, you don't know who I am. So, maybe you should be."
He pushed his hand down, the gun now pointing at my hand where I held my gun. He pulled the trigger, but nothing happened.
There was no gunshot, the gun wasn't even loaded.
"Aw, poor puppy forgot to load his gun." I pouted, stepping closer to him as he dropped his gun by his side.
"Stay at home and keep an eye on the girl, they said. It'll be easy, they said." He sighed, rolling his eyes as he mentally face palmed.
I wrapped my hand around his collar, our faces just centimetres apart. "You wanna know who I am?" I tilted my head, looking up to him, "Kim Eun." I grinned, "But, I think you'd prefer to know me as Daehyun's daughter."
Before he had a chance to respond, I smashed the pistol against his head, knocking him out cold as he fell to the floor.
I couldn't kill him, I didn't have the guts. I felt sick at the thought of killing someone, especially someone so close to Chan. I knew if I stayed here any longer I wouldn't be able to leave, so I had to run.
I made my way towards the window, looking around for guards. It didn't seem like anyone was on duty, which was surprising. I remembered the way Dohyun got out, so I used that as my escape route. I just hoped it worked.
Chan's POV
I ran into the empty room, my clothes thrown all over the floor. I checked through my drawers to see if she'd left anything, but all I noticed was my missing gun.
Changbin fell to the floor outside my room, sitting beside Seungmin, "Did you call for the Boss' nurse?"
I shook my head, turning to him and throwing my phone to the floor. "I knew it. I god damn knew it!"
"We told you!" He stood to his feet, walking towards me with his hands tightened into fists, "We warned you about her and you didn't fucking listen!"
I grabbed a hold of his collar, my face just inches away from his, "Say that to me again. Go on! Raise your damn voice at me again!"
He stayed quiet as he chewed on the inside of his cheek, he was forcing himself to stay quiet.
"That's what I thought." I pushed him away, messing my hair as I began to tear at it.
Just the thought of her trying to get away confused me. Why was she trying to leave? I already had an idea built up in my head, but I was still so confused... I didn't know what was happening.
"Call Jisung. Get him to bring up the nurse."
"Where're you going? Shouldn't you be going out looking for her? She's your girlfriend."
"She was never my girlfriend." I scoffed, "Just my toy."
