Chan's POV
I threw my head back against the chair immediately after Woojin had left.
He knew exactly what he was doing, what he was saying, and who he was saying it to... He just didn't think of the consequences.
I stood to my feet, heading towards the exit. What Woojin said was completely out of line, but in some ways he was right, I had no idea who she was, so before I did anything else I headed straight to my room to speak to her.
I turned the corner of the first floor, making my way to my room before hearing the sound of footsteps rush beside me. "Chan!"
"Not now, Felix." My voice was husk, deeper than usual.
"Chan, you need to see this-"
"I said not now!"
"It's the guards!" He stopped in his tracks, waiting for me to turn around, and I did.
I turned with this concerned look on my face, my brow raised, my eyes widened to a certain extent, my hands forming into fists, "What about them?"
"Just...come and look, okay?"
He walked backwards, running back around the corner.
I stopped, turning my head to look at my room door before shaking it, looking away as I followed Felix around the corner and down the corridor.
"Finally you found him." Changbin gruffed, nodding into the room.
"What is this?" I furrowed my brows, peering my head around the door to see the room full with bodies, either piled on one another or spread evenly around the square walls. "You think Dohyun did this?" I turned back to Changbin, leaning against the wall.
He shrugged his shoulders lazily, "Not sure. They're not dead, though. Surely he would've had common sense to kill them, would he not?" He thought, looking back at the piles of bodies.
"Mmh, he would." I nodded, chewing on the tips of my fingers, "You're sure none of them are dead?"
"Felix and I checked when we found them, I'm not sure how he...managed this, but they're not dead." He sighed, trying to piece everything together. "I don't understand how he was able to do this."
"12 guards against 1 kid..." I scoffed, "Well, he's not dumb. That's for sure. Leave them here for now, do me a favour and search the rest of the grounds."
"We've checked this entire floor, this is all we found. We'll check the other floors before going onto the grounds outside." Felix nodded, pulling Changbin away from the door.
"Have you spoken to my dad?"
Felix shook his head, "Last time I saw him he was speaking to that girl, we're not sure where he went."
"Did you see him leave?" I frowned, tilting my head to an angle.
He nodded, "Yeah, he came out and said his work was done for the night." He tucked his shirt back into his jeans, tugging at the waistband, "Then he..." He imitated someone pulling up their tie, "...And left."
"Did he look any different to how he looked when he first went in?"
"We were both looking around the floor, we were on the other side of where he was so we wouldn't know." Changbin yawned, pressing his back against the wall.
"Let's just say that girl seemed to get him a little worked up." Felix chuckled, "He looked like he'd been ripping his hair out."
I shook my head, turning around to walk towards my room again, "That bastard..." I growled, tightening my fists as I got closer to the door.
I flung the door open, seeing her lay on the bed, the quilt laying softly over her.
She lifted her head once I walked in, her eyes half open as she covered herself, "What's wrong?" She yawned, stretching her arms out.
I shut the door, rushing over to the bed, "What did you talk to my father about?!"
Eun's POV
I started to panic, my mouth gaped open as I stared, "I... W-what do you mean?" I stuttered, my hands shaking.
I felt my heart racing, my chest pounding every second. I ran back through what I'd spoken to Dae-sung about and I immediately started to freak out. I didn't know whether he'd spoken to Chan about it...
"Did he touch you?! Are you hurt..." He pulled the quilt from my body, wandering his eyes over my arms and legs, taking a glance over at my neck, "You're not hurt, are you?"
I found my breath once more when I was able to finally relax, "Why would you care, anyway?" I scoffed, pulling away and turning my head.
He held his fingers against my chin, turning me back to face him, "Why wouldn't I?" He shook his head, "Answer my question... Are you hurt?"
"No..." I shook my head hesitantly, "No, I'm fine." I yawned, rubbing my eyes tiredly.
"Okay... Okay, good." He sighed, dropping his head back.
"Can I go back to sleep..." I gulped, looking away.
I'd almost forgotten that this all started with Chan tying me to a bed with handcuffs and eventually compromising with me... And, now, we were here... I didn't expect things to be like this, but they somehow were. I was given three meals a day, even if I didn't want to eat he'd force me to, not that that was a bad thing. I was given clothes, not always feminine... Mostly his spare hoodies or shorts, I was given everything I needed. You wouldn't expect something like this, I didn't...
And, it didn't occur to me until now but, eventually, I'd leave to be with my father and brother, and Chan would be nothing more than a dead person to me. I wouldn't be with him, I wouldn't be able to spend this time with him, and I started to miss it. Even though I'm still here, even though I haven't left, I already started to miss his presence. There was something about him that I couldn't understand, and I didn't think I'd be able to figure it out until I leave, and it would be too late when that happens.
The feelings I felt couldn't go any further, I couldn't think about him the way I wanted to, I couldn't imagine things I wanted with him, I couldn't imagine staying... I'd already lost him, and I didn't even know it.
"We need to talk about a few thin-"
I wrapped my arms around him, holding him tightly against my body, "Just...can we sleep? Not for long... I just wanna spend some time with you..." I realised what I'd said, and I immediately regretted it once I saw his expression. He just glared down at me, without saying a single word. "Nevermind..." I looked away, turning to rest my head against the pillow before feeling him grab my hand, my attention turning his way.
"Are you sure you're okay?" His brooding eyes glancing down at me, his hand resting on my cheek as he brushed his finger across my skin.
I took a moment to look down, thinking of my response.
Was I okay?
"Just stay with me?" I looked up, my eyes following his.
He nodded hesitantly, "Yeah... of course."
I shuffled over to the far corner of the bed, allowing him to lay beside me before I lowered my head onto his chest.
"Did my father say something?" He started to play with my hair, twirling the ends around his fingers.
"I don't wanna talk to him..."
"So he did say something?" He immediately lifted his head concerningly.
"No, I..." I sighed.
He dropped his head down against the pillow, "Try and get some rest." He held me close, stroking my hair back continuously, the feeling of his hands combing through my hair soothed me.
I really didn't know what to do now...
