His silhouette stood in the centre of the room as he edged himself closer to her, his hand reaching out carefully once he approached the bed she'd lay in. She flinched at the harsh press of his fingertips against her head, positioning her head just enough to smirk at the graze he'd left on her.
"Does it hurt?" he tormented her by pushing his fingers against her further and, naturally, she pulled away from his touch with some hesitation. She shuffled back towards the wall, lightly pushing herself forward once she felt the cold touch brush against her skin. "Do I scare you?"
Her eyes widened at the realisation that he'd shuffled closer to her with his knee pressed against the mattress. Harshly slapping his hand away as it once again reached out for her, she scoffed and frowned, "you must think i'm easy."
His lips parted to let out a chuckle, his brow now raised at her stunned expression, "are you wanting to go home? Or not?"
"Is that a threat?"
"That's how you're taking it?" he hummed, "well, maybe it is."
"Chan-" another taller male had stood in the doorway, almost the same height as the previous guy - yet, it wasn't the same person.
"Not now, Jeongin," his eyes continued to glare into hers whilst she kept her own focused on the, now, named kid, "i'm busy."
"Reschedule your play date," he joked, "there's work we need to finish."
"Can't you see i'm already working?"
"Chan-"
Jeongin took a step back once Chan's glance caught his, they stared at one another for some time before Chan began to part his lips once more, which is where Jeongin simply looked away and scoffed.
"I said, not now," he repeated, hoping Jeongin would finally leave the two to bond.
His glare switched from unbothered to intimidating within a short amount of time, but instead of aiming his attention towards Chan, he'd now focused on how uncomfortable the girl had looked with Chan sat so close to her.
"Are you bringing her in?" he questioned, his eyes narrowed questionably at her.
"Downstairs?" Chan had now, also, turned his attention to the girl, watching how she'd frozen almost immediately just by his short-lasting smirk. "Maybe later."
"Bring her down now," he tutted, his back leant against the doorway as if he was starting to get impatient - Jeongin wasn't one to wait around, especially when he was waiting around on a girl. Even for Chan, he thought this was surely too much.
"I'll bring her down when i'm ready."
"Ready?" she finally spoke up, shuffling away from the boy still leaning against the mattress to reach closer to her. He had such a mesmerising voice, which tempted her even more to force the taller boy out of the room.
'Jeongin, do you mind leaving us alone for a moment?'
She'd been refraining herself from speaking out to him in fear of what he might do, or even what Chan might do. Either way, she'd be getting what she wants - attention. Those words ran through the back of her mind as if she were rehearsing her lines, readying herself for how Jeongin would react - she'd already guessed Chan's reaction; a subtle smirk, yet it wasn't subtle enough for her to not picture his thoughts.
"Chan, now."
"Out."
She was shocked... Chan didn't ask for Jeongin to leave, she did.
"I-" she stumbled upon her words whilst turning away, her brow raised once Chan finally spoke up with a sincere smile.
"You heard her," he finally pulled himself up from the mattress, tugging at his jacket before correcting his posture and turning to Jeongin, "out."
Jeongin struggled to respond, he'd never been put in such a position where he had to respond to a girl's attitude - especially when she was so rude. Instead, he let his hand rattle the door handle a little more before stepping out of the room and closing it.
Her temptation for him grew stronger, yet she was still intrigued as to what he wanted with her.
"Wh-"
"Do I make you that nervous?" he reached out his arm, but pulled it back once he'd revealed his cuffed sleeve, his fingers tugging at the buttons as they began to undo.
"N-no..." she shied away at how she stuttered with such a simple question. Perhaps the stutter was intentional, perhaps it wasn't. She couldn't even answer that for herself.
He knelt down beside the mattress, his arms resting against his legs as he stared up at her, once again looking intimidating. "Do you know Peniel?"
"Who?" she tried to play it off, but failed once she remembered everything - one minute she was with him, the next she wasn't.
Chan let her respond again, hoping this time she'd be of some use.
"Where is h-"
"Do his whereabouts concern you?"
"N-"
"Why don't you tell me where he is? And his friends?"
He expected her to give in so easily, he expected her to beg for her life to be spared so she could go home... yet it was as if she sat there with her wrists pressed together, wanting to be taken in.
"Why? Do you need my help?" she thought at this point she was being a little greedy, and she was.
"Maybe you should tone your attitude down a little."
It wasn't even his voice anymore, nor was it his faint accent, it was the way he spoke to her, he was rude and it was almost as if she wanted him to be...degrading. Did he want her to be scared? Nervous? Worried for her life? She could be... if there was something in it for her.
"Get up."
Rather than questioning his order, she pulled her feet from under herself to walk beside him. Now that she'd stood side by side with him, she felt a little wary. Why wouldn't she? He gave her no reason as to why she'd woken up in another's bed, yet she didn't seem to care much.
She slipped her hand through his as he began to reach out for her, purposely trying to snatch her arm. He attempted a second time but grew impatient and pushed her closer to the edge of the staircase, his hand tightly gripping at her arm whilst pushing her further down the steps.
She had no intention of looking around and taking her time to find some sort of exit, honestly she wasn't looking for a way out anytime soon. Her focus was on how his nails dug into her skin, almost drawing blood - if he did it intentionally, it would be even better, she'd just be even more mesmerised.
The girl found herself stumbling into a separate room after being guided through the hallways, she struggled to keep her balance as Chan threw away her arm from his grip.
He nodded to the single seat behind the desk, folding his arms and shutting the door. She pressed her lips together and gulped at the sound of the lock clicking harshly. "Go ahead," he cleared his throat, "take a seat."
She dragged herself towards the seat warily, but stepped back and fell to her hands whilst shuffling back against the wall. Her eyes were desperate to wander away from the body of Peniel, yet she stared uncomfortably at the trail of blood between the tiles she'd sat on.
"Now," Chan forced himself to walk towards her, kneeling down to her height with his hand outreached, "are we going to negotiate?"
She was so fascinated by him that she didn't even think about where she'd end up - his husky voice and satisfying smirk was the only thing stopping her from slapping her hand across his cheek in attempt to free herself from him. But, even then, she'd force herself to stay.
She only had one question for him.
"Are you going to hurt me?"
"That depends," he chuckled under his breath, leaning closer to her with his hand now pushed up against the wall, "how rough do you like it?"
