After Tae sat alone in the restaurant for a few seconds, frustrated and filled with fear, he stood up quickly and rushed out of the building, looking for Jungkook. He wasn't anywhere to been seen, so he decided to go to the dorm. His heart beat fast as he knocked on Jungkook's door, nervous, of how the other will react. He bit his bottom lip, fidgeting with his fingers and stroking the back of his hair out of frustration and tension, until he heard some footsteps nearing. He was prepared of an angry shook his head. looking Jungkook, prepared of piercing eyes, of get yelled at him, but what he saw almost broke his heart. Jungkook stood tired on the other side as he opened the door, his eyes puffy and red, with some dried tears on his cheeks. He looked hurt. "I'm sorry" Jungkook sobbed. Taehyung rushed in and took the male into his arms, closing the door carefully. "No...no...! Kookie, baby, I need to apologize, not you." He pressed his body to his own closely, like he was afraid that he may slip out of his hold. He buried his head in the crook of his neck, as a tear escaped his eyes. "Jungkook, I was so stupid, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He swayed them a bit to calm the sobbing Jungkook in his arms. He looked so vulnerable and sad, and Tae hated that he was the one who caused him that. The last time he saw Kookie cry was back then, when his parents had a bad fight, afraid that they will divorce and he had to move out and so. Gladly they made it up again. Jungkook wasn't a guy that cried easily. Not even when he hurts himself badly. He will rather yell or curse or cry out, but never cry like this. Jungkook held Taehyung close. He looked up. "Please, don't leave me." Taehyung felt his heart clench, and he felt immediately guilty, not just because of the incident with his father earlier, but because what he did to Jungkook in the past. He left him for an obnoxious boy, ruining their friendship, and the second time he just ignored him and went to Europe for a year. "I won't. Never. I will never ever leave you again." He said, making Jungkook cry even more. He felt it. He felt the pain Jungkook had. And it was all because of himself. They sat to the couch, Jungkook was snorting into a tissue, as Taehyung sat closely, holding a hand of him. "I'm sorry Taehyung. I look stupid, right?" Taehyung shook his head. "You look beautiful." Jungkook smiled and giggled a bit. "It's just...I was angry first as I entered my dorm, but then...I don't know...I guess I realized something..." Taehyung stayed quiet, just hummed in response, waiting patient for the younger to explain. " I realized...that I felt this feeling not for the first time. I always felt jealous seeing you with another girl. I just thought...I thought back then that I was jealous of your popularity or something. But the hurt I felt...it was the same hurt when you talked bad about me in front of Neyon. It was overwhelming...the fear to lose you was also mixed up with all the other emotions. You know, I admired you a lot as we were younger, and...I just wanted be...enough for you...enough to be with you...and..." He covered his eyes as he teared up again. "Oh Kookie..." Taehyung hugged him closely. "You are right...totally. I was an asshole back then. I didn't deserve you." "I guess I was so desperate for you...to notice me...." "I know. You were always enough for me Kookie. Always. I just couldn't handle that I fell in love with you. You know what a coward I am." "Right." Jungkook chuckled. "I looked up to you. Always. Please...please don't think low of yourself because of me. The truth is, I guess I fell for you from first sight." Jungkook looked at him in surprise. "But I lied to myself, because I was afraid of it." Taehyung blushed. Jungkook nodded. "Me too. Exactly. Me too. I felt it right away. Was also afraid. It was so mighty." Both laughed shyly. They hugged tightly. Feeling more connected, more vulnerable, more understand. "Move in with me." Jungkook rose his head and looked at Taehyung. "Move in with me Kookie." That made the younger sob in joy as he nodded eagerly. It wasn't that difficult, because Jimin was more than okay to change rooms with Kookie. He hadn't much to bring; the same evening he was already finished and Taehyung's new roommate. And it was the best decision they could make, because their relationship got so much more domestic and stronger, and both were really shining because of how joyful they felt.

It was a week later, as he received a phone call from his mother. "We want to invite you and your girlfriend for dinner tomorrow." Taehyung gulped as he heard those words. He looked over to Kookie, who was busy with his art project. "Is 7 alright? Her name is Noa, right? I'm so happy you found her." Taehyung took a deep breath. "Mom. I can't." "Okay, then. Another day?" "No." She felt silent on the other line. "What's wrong?" "She isn't my girlfriend." That made Jungkook look up at him, his eyes wide. His mother sighed. "Broke up already?" "No. I never was in a relationship with her." "I don't understand." "I lied to dad. To cover up my real relationship." "So...you are in a relationship? I'm confused. Why did you need to cover up your relationship with her?" "Him. It's a him." His mother fell silent again. "What?" "Mom...I'm gay...or Bi...I don't know, but I'm in love with a guy." "Are you sure?" "Yes." Jungkook smiled at his boyfriend, feeling proud and happy how he was stand up for their relationship." "I don't know what to say...I...take care then..." She hung up. Taehyung sighed sadly, but relieved that he had the courage to finally say it out loud. Jungkook stood up and walked close to him, feeling how he was shaking as he hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much." He pecked his lips. "You did the right thing, okay?" Taehyung nodded. A tear escaped his eye. He knew his relationship with his parents will be tested now. And he was afraid. Afraid of his father. "You have no idea how much this means to me. You just told your mother about us." "Well, I wanted to say that you are the guy I'm in love with, but she just hung up." Jungkook nodded. "It will be alright." They cuddled with each other on the couch. Taehyung felt vulnerable and lost, and needed Jungkook up close. They watched a movie and ate some snacks. After some time someone knocked on the door. Jungkook went up to open the door. His eyes got big as an angry man stood in front of him. It was Taehyung's father. "You!" He said through gritted teeth. "I should have known it!" He pushed him aside and walked angrily to Taehyung, who stood up and looked at him in fear. Jungkook tried to get his balance back and turned to them, rushing in front of Taehyung protectively as the father raised his hand, about to slap it on Taehyung's face. Jungkook just got there in time, catching the man's wrist with a strong grip. Taehyung shivered in fear. "How dare you to raise your hand in front of him!" Jungkook said angrily, clenching his jaw and looking with fire in his eyes on Taehyung's dad. The man tried to get out of the grip, but Jungkook was stronger. "Taehyung! Come with me! Now!" Taehyung shook his head. "He will stay with me." Jungkook said sternly. "What did you do to him?!" He yelled at Jungkook. Jungkook smirked. " I love him, with all of my heart." His father looked at Taehyung, who didn't know what to do, hiding behind his boyfriend. "This isn't love. This is disgusting." Taehyung looked to the ground in hurt. "I don't care." He mumbled. "What?" His father asked. "I SAID, I DON'T CARE!" Taehyung shouted through teary eyes. "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT US, I LOVE HIM, AND HE LOVES ME, AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!" His father looked at him in shock, never experienced Taehyung yelling at him like that. "SO YOU CHOOSE HIM OVER YOUR PARENTS?" "I choose myself. And this is how I am. Ever was. If you don't like me for who I am, then I don't need you. Jungkook loves me the way I am. So yes, of course I choose him." His father's nostrils begun to flutter in anger. "THEN YOU'RE NOT MY SON ANYMORE!!!!" "Anything else to say, old man?" Jungkook asked, still holding him in a tight grip, as if it was nothing. "You will regret this." He said, And Jungkook pulled him to the door. "Get out now." Jungkook let him go, ready to fight if he needs to protect Taehyung. His father just rearranged his clothes and went outside after he looked into Jungkook's dangerous threaten eyes, knowing there was no use to fight him, since he would lose. Jungkook shut the door and locked it, turning around to see a devastated Taehyung who sunk on his knees. The moment he was always been afraid of, the moment he was running off, to never experience, just happened. He lost all his strength and collapsed, sobbing uncontrollably. Jungkook rushed to him, knowing that he will have a really hard time now. And he will do anything to help him through it. Anything for his brave boyfriend.
