Taehyung bit his lip over the realization. He wasn't as straight as he thought. At all. He chuckled. He should have known it. Didn't he once jerked out of Jungkook? Of course he did. He would never forget that. Not now. He jerked out thinking of the raven handsome almost every day after their last kiss. He couldn't even think about any girl. It was just impossible. That's why he stopped dating them, even if he let the chance slide to get satisfied physically. He felt the need of him. Jungkook. Some weeks past, and they were on better terms. Heck, they didn't even bickered that much, but flirted instead. It just somehow got this way. It was mostly Jungkook who did. Even when Taehyung was the elder and the more outgoing one, Jungkook was braver and just more stubborn. At first, he tried to escape and hide from Jungkook again, but he knew he didn't really want to hide anymore. He wanted Jungkook to find him, pin him to the wall and kiss him senselessly. It took a while for him to let the intrusive thoughts he had of Jungkook develop and to admit it to himself. Jungkook just drove him crazy. And he doesn't know now how to act. Jungkook always tried to pass him, in the elevator, the library between shelves, the darkroom or even the dorm hallway. Taehyung gave more and more in, and at some point he was searching Jungkook himself and kissed him. It felt naturally, but they didn't really spoke about it, understanding without words what the other needed and wanted, and maybe not able at the moment to speak it out. They just flirted, stared, kissed and then separated. It was almost weird. It should be at least.
Taehyung walked the hall down, as he caught the sight of Jungkook, sitting on the floor. He was about to say something sassy, as he saw the tear, that escaped his eye. Taehyung began to panic. Not knowing what was happening, he just sat next to him quietly. Jungkook looked up at him and smiled weakly. It was a long time ago, Taehyung saw Jungkook this vulnerable. He felt his heart clenching at the sight. Jungkook rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder and sniffed. The warmth felt nice, but Taehyung got even more nervous. He needed to know. "What's wrong?" Jungkook shifted and looked up. "Grandpa. He died." Taehyung felt his heart drop. Jungkook had an amazing grandpa. "Oh...Jungkook..." He slung his arms around his neck and pulled him closer. Jungkook held him tightly and sobbed into his shirt. They stayed like this, as Yoongi was about to get around the corner, but stopped and just watched them secretly. He smiled. Taehyung talked to him a few days ago, after he caught them making out in the library. He wasn't shocked. But surprised. Taehyung admitted to feel attracted to Jungkook, and that there's a possibility of being gay. Yoongi just chuckled and said, that he already knew. But when he asked him if they were dating, he just laughed and stuttered, it was more a physical need, and the fact that Jungkook was damn attractive just brought him where he is now. Taehyung annoyed him with his stubborn and obliviousness about his own feelings. But he wasn't the one to judge. Taehyung was very important to him, and he knew he will find out, sooner or later. Yoongi wasn't the type to push him, but to comfort and to escort through difficult times. That was what Tae loved about Yoongi the most. Yoongi pulled his phone out of his pocket and made a picture of them, how they were resting in each other's arms. He smiled even wider. The picture he took secretly was in fact for RM, since they discussed, and RM said, he will only believe they were in love if he will see it with his own eyes. Yoongi sent it to him immediately, with the note: proof!
Jungkook took Taehyung to his room, not saying anything, but laid down on his bed. Taehyung was hesitant first, but then joined him and hugged him, kissed his hair and his temple. All he wanted was to make Jungkook feel better. It wasn't sexual at all, just sweet and comfortable. Taehyung felt Jungkook shiver a bit, so he covered themselves with a blanket. It was cozy, and soon they drifted off to sleep.
Jungkook smiled as he woke up and saw Taehyung next to him and cuddled more into his chest. He felt butterfly's in his gut as he does. It was weird, even if he was beyond sad about his loss, Taehyung just managed to make him feel happy. He felt his bitterness disappear more and more, the bitterness he had to carry since he lost Taehyung. But now...there was a chance. A chance for them again. He doesn't care of the past. The only thing that matters to him was this right here. Them together, entangled to one another.
Taehyung woke up and made some Tea for them both. A bit confused with the time, since it was only evening and they slept in the late afternoon, they spent the next hours to talk. About the grandpa of Jungkook and about their memories they had with him. Something changed on that day. They got softer with each other, more friendly and careful. The sassiness was still there, but they didn't make out for a few days. Taehyung would have liked to, but since Jungkook was still mourning, he wasn't the one to push him. Jungkook was grateful for him and was touched as Taehyung attended the funeral. The hyungs of course noticed the change in them. They were more in sync, almost shocking in sync, it terrified the Hyungs how they started to move alike and to say the same things at the same time. Yoongi whispered to RM: "Do you believe me now?" RM nodded and smiled, happy that their friends seemed to be comfortable with one another. It should have been like this all the time. The friends sitting all together chatting and laughing, without any tension in the air, well at least not some kind of hate, because, the sexual tension rose again, it was never gone, in fact just covered with the sadness Jungkook were in. But as soon as the sadness disappeared slowly, the other, much more pleasurable feeling rose.
