Tae and Kook smiled at each other as they walked through the campus, hands intertwined. Tae's heart was pounding. It was somewhat stressful to be exposed like this, to have all the questioned look of the people around on them. But he had Jungkook next to him, who seemed proud and fearless, looking at everyone back who was staring, with a threatening gaze. A few girls from art class came up to them, and asked them directly. "Yes, we are dating." They cheered. "That is so hot! Wow! After your kiss at the party I was even fantasizing about you two doing hot stuff." Tae looked at her embarrassed. "Okay, that was TMI." All giggled. "But it's a shame...we can't date any of you..." one said, pouting. "All the good guys are gay." She sighed. Jungkook sat on Tae's lap. The girls were screaming in joy. "Oh, please, can you kiss? Jungkook smirked and kissed Taehyung passionately. The girls screamed in excitement. Tae and Kook laughed at their reactions. "Aww, too cute...!" "Cute? That was so sexy! I want to join them!" Other than the girls, most guys felt awkward and disturbed by them. Some were also supportive, but there were some who said offending words to them. Jungkook was always there, fighting them with words, after he grabbed them by their collar, threaten them. Tae was amazed how protective Jungkook was again. He loved that on him. It made him feel safe. Nobody dared to say any inappropriate things against them, especially not against Taehyung after a week. Jungkook made sure of it.
They were trying the costumes to rehearse the play. Jungkook had a red baroque suit with white ruffles; a sash along his chest, designate him as a royal. Tae wore a blue baroque suit, also white ruffles and some rings. "You look handsome, Tae. I want to eat you." Jungkook said, pulling him on his jacket a bit closer. "Look who's talking, prince of Aragon. Fuck, that's so sexy...." He moved closer to kiss him. "Don Pedro and Leonato, please come to the stage." Jin said, concentrating on the script, not even realising that they were making out. He walked on the stage, and then looked back at them. "Hurry up now!" Both pulled away, kissing for the last time and walked to the stage, with a big smile. In midst of their rehearsal, the door swung open. "Kim Taehyung?" Taehyung was in a scene with a girl, playing his daughter Hero in that piece. "Yes?" "Please come to the principal's office after this course." The secretary handed a paper, only showing the time to show up there. Tae looked at the paper. Getting sad, since he assumed what this was about. Jungkook walked to him, hugging him, and stroking his back. "It will be okay. We will find a way." Jungkook said soothingly. He didn't care that the others were watching.
Tae sat in the office, his palms sweaty. Jungkook was waiting outside, biting his nails. "So. Kim Taehyung, we have a problem." Taehyung nodded. "The last tuition fee wasn't paid. We contacted your parents, and they said, they are no longer paying for your Education." Taehyung had tears in his eyes. "Yeah, I thought that will come." "Care to explain?" Taehyung sobbed and wiped a tear away. "I came out as gay, and my parents don't want to support me in any way." The principal nodded. "Your grades are good, but not outstanding, so you won't get a grant from the university. Do you have any other options to pay for the education?" Taehyung lowered his head. "I can ask my grannie...and I will work part time..."The principal nodded. "In this case, we give you the opportunity to pay in instalments, you have a half year to pay the last tuition fee." "Thank you very much." "But you need to be able to pay when the time is up. If not, we have to find another solution, or else, we need to drop you out of school. I hope we don't have to." Taehyung nodded.
He walked out with the bill, terrified by the number on it. Jungkook embraced him, stroking his hair. "I have a half year to pay." Taehyung said. Jungkook nodded. "I will help you. I will help you on all costs." Taehyung cried a bit, sniffled on Jungkook's shoulder. He was so glad Jungkook was there for him.
The same day Taehyung made a call at the café he already worked in once. It wasn't much, he needed a second job for sure, but he was relieved he got a job already. He signed to work at every second weekend and on every Tuesday evening.
Taehyung tied his apron, rolling up the brims of his sleeves to his elbows, starting to make some coffees. "Taehyung, you need to show everything to our new barista." Taehyung just shouted "okay!" as he concentrated on the coffee. A hand was placed on his by someone, making him startle. He looked around, seeing Jungkook behind him, smirking. "What are you doing here?" He asked surprised, since he just said goodbye to him an hour ago. "I said I will do anything." Tae had difficulties to understand, until his eyes landed on Jungkook's apron. His mouth fell open. "So? Can you show me how to make coffee?" Tae had tears in his eyes. "Kookie..."He was so touched. "Let's start!" Jungkook was fast at learning. Making even the better pattern on the coffee foam. Everything will be good, because Kookie was on his side. Tae was taking some orders, and Jungkook prepared the coffees. As the day went on, less customers came in, giving Taehyung and Jungkook a bit time to relax. Jungkook made a latte macchiato as Tae turned around, and only now noticed his veiny strong arms, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Taehyung stared, as Jungkook skilfully added the espresso to the milk. He looked at Tae and winked, serving the macchiato to the customer. "You really need to look sexy in everything you do, what?" Tae said, smirking, as he leaned to the wall. Jungkook cleaned his hand on the apron, smirking too. He looked Tae up and down. "Look who's talking, top model." Tae chuckled, blushing a bit. "I actually really modelled once. In London." "I know." Taehyung frowned and walked after Jungkook, who cleaned the empty tables. Just a few customers where sitting in the corner. "You do?" "Yeah. Let's say, I checked your Instagram profile some times." "Really? How often?" Jungkook gulped. "Daily." Taehyung looked shocked, but amused. "You're kidding, right?" "I'm not. I was in love with you, but didn't realized. I had the urge to stalk your account." He chuckled. "Did you never checked my account?" Tae fell silent. "Um...well....I did too..." "On a daily basis?" Jungkook asked, getting closer to his boyfriend. Taehyung blushed. "Well...I don't know if it was EVERY day, but I checked you a lot...." Jungkook bit his lips. "Guess we were both the same fools." "Yeah." Jungkook checked if the customers are looking, and then pulled Tae to the back office. "I'm so glad you are mine now." He hugged him tightly, burying his nose into Tae's neck. Tae enjoyed the ticklish feeling. Jungkook looked up, smiling and looking lovingly into the others eyes. He pecked his lips. It was calm and soothing, intimate. He kissed him a bit longer, but just on his lips, as gently and full of love as he could. Tae smiled. The strong bond between them got even stronger through all those hardships they had to go through.
Professor Jin talked to them the next day in the hallway, offering them a job at the theatre. Helping with costume archives, and tear tickets of the audience. "It's not much, but since I heard you struggle with payment...." "Thank you very much, Professor." Tae said, moved by his teacher. "We can use every help we get." Of course Jungkook joined him into this job as well, to double the salary. "Okay, then, I will...will...uh..." Taehyung and Jungkook frowned, but then realized their friend RM, better known as Namjoon, just walked into their direction. The professor was blushing madly, looking down on his feet. RM needed to walk pass, but as they all stared at him, he just stopped, feeling awkward with his two gay friends and the professor he was making out at the club. "Hey...everything alright here?" Tae and Jungkook just nodded, looking then at Jin, who was fiery red, still looking to the ground. "Yeah, yeah...everything is perfect." He gulped. "Good...Kooks, see you later..." He inhaled sharply and held his breath until he passed the three. "Well...I...I send you the details per mail, alright?" Jin said, absolutely embarrassed. "Okay. And thank you again." Tae bowed. Jungkook smirked as he saw Jin looking after Namjoon, who was about to disappear at the end of the hallway. Tae was amazed how supportive his friends were. Even Jimin helped, as he told him the fashion agency his brother was working for, was searching models. Tae wasn't sure if he should apply, but Jungkook was very supportive, and he enjoyed the one time in London. So at the end of the next week, Taehyung had 3 job's. Every single one was a part time job, since he was still studying, and the dorm needed to be payed too. Not to mention food. Life was very expensive, and he still didn't got enough money for all that. But almost. They won't give up that easily. Never.
