Taehyung tried to distract himself with everything on the trip. It was good to be abroad, he felt free, and yoongi was the perfect company, who didn't dare to ask to much. For sure he made some memorable pictures, and he sucked in all the new impressions, feeling alive as he drowned in the prettiness of Europe architecture and small cities. It was fun. But the nights were the most difficult. Hunted from a special person in his dreams, feeling guilty of how he just shut him out. On weaker evenings or nights, he couldn't resist to look at Jungkook's Instagram profile, just to check on him, of course. He couldn't stop his pounding heart, almost as he was about to do something forbidden. Jungkook just posted a pretty, but depressing picture of him in the first week, and it troubled Taehyung more than he would admit it. After the two weeks, Yoongi went back to korea, and Taehyung stayed in London for his language learning stay. It was much difficult without yoongi, but gladly he made some friends at the language school from around the world. The married couple he stayed with, were very nice. They hadn't children, were already past 60 years old and had a big house. Taehyung was doing the cleaning for staying there, and helping with cooking and grocery shopping. He drove the lady to any places, since her husband lost a lot of his eyesight and couldn't drive anymore. Taehyung had difficulties first to drive at the left side, but he managed it somehow. Some of his classmates were into fashion, and he was really happy, because he also was. Dandy was the new look he was interested in and tried some hats in a shop. It wasn't long, after a man, who eyed him for some time walked close to him. "Excuse me, hi, I'm Franco, and I watched you for some time. I'm a photographer for a fashion label. We are looking for some new faces, and you just caught my interest. Did you modelled before?" Taehyung was proud he understood the most of what the male said, but struggled to give an answer. "Ehm...no, not modelled...but...I want to...ehm...try" The photographer smiled. He gave him his card. "I would look forward to work with you." He walked then away. Taehyung stood there with the card in his hand. Wait. What if this wasn't real? It could be a trap...he laughed. No, the guy looked professional and artistic. He bit his lip. Dad wouldn't like that, that's for sure. But, hey, he was an adult now. What can his dad say anyway? Taehyung smiled and looked at him in the mirror, satisfied with his new look. And so it happened for Taehyung to model sometimes during his stay in England. He did it for fun, and doesn't wanted to go further, because he wanted to be a photographer himself someday. It was a great opportunity to learn about photography while he modelled, and he was more and more talking with Franco about it. Franco was amused about the boy, and didn't stop answering all his curious questions. So time went on, winter came and spring, and it was blissful for Taehyung. It was now almost a habit to check on Jungkook's profile in the evening. Jungkook got more and more mature and more handsome than ever. He would be a great model, too, that's for sure. Taehyung sighed. "I should stop this." He pushed the phone away and chuckled. Jungkook tried to be artistic sometimes, but the last picture was just ridiculous. It showed him with two girls, one left, one right of him in his arms, surrounded by blue and purple club light, looking smug into the camera. It was almost, as he would challenge him, Taehyung, just like back then, when they made this stupid bet. He looked moody and sassy, it was almost sexy, but Taehyung disliked it, because he disliked the cocky ones. And Jungkook for sure was cocky, and got even more cockier the more time past. He was glad that he hasn't have to deal with him anymore. Maybe he was a bit harsh, but Jungkook caused him so much stress, he doesn't know if he wants to see him ever again. It was peaceful to watch him from afar, through the screen. He maybe couldn't even admit it to himself, but he was relieved to know he was okay. Well, it seemed he was.

The whole year was somewhat healing for him. Away from his parents, independent, allowed him to question some opinions or view of life of his parents, and make his own. He even went to a gay club with some of his English classmates, because they wanted to go. It was a bit awkward at first, but in the end, there were just normal people, and it wasn't as bad as he thought. Of course, a lot of boys came to him, but he just rejected them all with "sorry", and said, he isn't gay, because, he wasn't, right? He didn't had any hook up's the whole year, even if there were some nice girls who wanted to date him. He just enjoyed his time there, and didn't want to make anything complicated. The year formed Taehyung to a more confident, openminded person, without any panic attacks, who had a makeover with his clothes, knowing more than ever what he wants, and cut his hair and dyed it blonde. It was only a day until he gets back to korea and attend to college, where the other friends already studied. Something he really looked forward to. His dad wasn't very pleased with his choice to live in the dorm and especially not with his choose to study art in major and theatre science in minor. But gladly they didn't fight about it, his dad just said a few murmured critical things about it. It was his life at least, and he had to deal with whatever he chose. Jimin would be his roommate in the dorm. As much as he liked London, he was beyond happy to go back. He really missed his friends, family and home. "Time to get ready!"
