Jungkook was sulking for about a month, was reserved to the point where his friends were concerned. He didn't talked with anyone about what happened, and he even asked Taehyung's grandma to keep it to herself that he visited her. She was surprised, but agreed. His sulking turned into moodiness, and after a while, he was bitter and sarcastic, but tried to move on. The girls he dated bored him quickly, but he dated them anyways. Jungkook occupied himself with studying, painting and making sport activities. He got even more bratty than before, but his grades were really showable. The moodiness mixed with charm and his quick-witted tongue made him the top desired guy of the whole school, and no one was surprised as he got crowned as prom king at prom party. The whole evening wasn't like he wanted it to be, because he always thought about the prom from last year, that ended his newly found friendship with Taehyung. He was almost depressed that evening, and beside some dancing and talking, he didn't do anything, not getting into the right mood for it. Summer break was great, he was on vacation with his parents and enjoyed the beach. It pissed him off as he saw pictures from Taehyung on Instagram, mostly with other peoples surrounded, because he looked happy. It wasn't like he wanted him to be sad, but he felt pained to be bitter, but see Taehyung being totally okay with how their relation ended. He had a lot anger against the other, for making him suffer like this. He was more than willing to pay back. The rest of summer, he worked on the farm of his grandpa and enjoyed all the animals. It was calm, allowed him to rest and to draw passionately and to take pictures from the landscape and animals.
His relationship with his grandpa was very nice, the old man loved Jungkook a lot. Jungkook stroked the ears of a bunny as he thought back at the time when he brought Taehyung here. They played all day at the farm, played some adventurer who have to fight through the jungle. How funny it was to go through the high nettles, screaming from their pain they got, and their laughing inside, where his grandma patched up their bruises. They played so many fantastic stories out, and weren't ashamed, even if Taehyung was already 13 and Jungkook almost 12 years old. Taehyung knew some creepy storys he told him under the sheets where they slept, armed with flashlights. It was the best summer Jungkook ever had. The summer they met and became friends. He sighed. He shouldn't remember. It just hurts him.
Then college started. Jungkook carried his suitcase over the hall, and looked for the room he would live in the next three years. Yungeom would be his roommate. He smiled. He looked at the paper, and found soon after the right room. His key was already in the door, as his paper flew out of his hands, making him bend down. Someone said "excuse me" and passed behind him, pulling his own suitcase through the small gap between Jungkook and the wall. Jungkook stood up, and noticed, the guy, who passed him a few seconds ago fumbling with his key. He was about to turn the lock, as they both looked at each other. "You got to be kidding me....!" Taehyung blurted out, as he looked at Jungkook in shock, who looked shocked himself at the latter. Both stood there, their hands resting on the key; it looked weird, because they stood like the same, mirroring themselves. After a few seconds, Jungkook smirked mischievously. "Guess we are neighbours again, Taehyung." With that, he went inside and shut the door audible. Taehyung just stood there, his mouth wide open. "Fuck."
