I was on a hunt, and my prey was a warrior who had previously killed one of our own, and I was pissed. I flew above the trees as a Super Saiyan 3, searching for this foolish creature who dared anger me. I saw a trail of blood and noticed the man crawling on the ground, a wound in his leg. Lyra must have gotten him during his run, perfect. I thought to myself before landing on top of him, breaking his back and killing him swiftly yet painfully.
"You've gotten better at that!" I heard Lyra exclaim. I had previously struggled with landing with the precision to snap the spine and not cause any external damage, this was one of the few times I actually had pulled it off. I deactivated Super Saiyan 3, letting my long hair flow freely in the wind. I put a thumbs up as thanks and she came up to me, wrapping me in a tight hug. I felt the familiar burn in my muscles that Super Saiyan 3 gives me. While powerful, It is very energy consuming and can me physically taxing if used too much, which I usually do use it too much. It has been nearly 10 years since the battle with Bishamon, and Shadow has left LightningClan. He wasn't exiled, and I hated to see him go, since me and him were starting to become friends, but he felt like his destiny was to be somewhere else and that we would meet again in the future.
We headed back to camp when I sensed a powerful energy heading my way, fast. I told Lyra to get back to camp and I took to the skies, heading straight for the source of power. I saw a shape quickly come into view and recognized Galin. I stopped and waited for him to come to me, he didn't seem to be slowing down. He threw a lightning fast punch and I moved to the side, it barely missing me by an inch as I rebounded with a fist in his sternum, knocking the wind out of him briefly. He coughed and recovered swiftly, relaxing his muscles and grinning.
"Hmph, you have improved since last time. Well done Keegan! Ow." He said, gripping his chest. "You sure do pack a punch now. I think you're ready to train and learn to control God Ki." I beamed and gave an excited "Really?!" look on my face, making him chuckle.
He motioned to follow him and I did. We took off back to LightningClan to tell everyone. We landed within seconds and I filled everyone in, putting Lyra in charge while I was gone. Soon enough, we were on our way, flying through the air at intense speeds. I had to become a Super Saiyan 2 just to keep up with the man. We landed at the door of a run down building, walking in, there was a small green button next to a red one of similar size
"Press the green one." Galin said, I walked up and pressed it causing a blue ball to appear, opening into a portal. Galin hopped in, grabbing my arm and pulling me in with him. On the other side I witnessed a massive room with a balcony, with a few people of very holy stature standing atop it and looking down at me. I spotted an all too familiar golden wolf next to them all, giving me a warm smile.
"Lupus!" I said, he raised a paw to silence me and I relaxed. One of the men flew down, he had shining white wings coming out of his back. I instinctively knelt down, bowing my head. I knew this guy was strong, way stronger than me, and was likely either an Angel or a God. He told me to rise and I did. Looking me up and down, he turned to Galin.
"This was the one? The boy you wanted us to train?" His voice echoed throughout the room, it was calm, and intimidating. Galin nodded respectfully and the man turned to me.
"I am the Archangel Imperious, leader of the most powerful and high ranking paladins in the world. We are known as The Angiris Council. From now until the foreseeable future you will live and train here. This training will be hell, both metaphorically and very literally. Now, are you sure you're up for this?" The man said, his serious tone making me think for a second. Do I really want to go through this? It sounds pretty bad... yea, you're damn right I'm gonna go through with this! I stood up, staring the Archangel dead in the eye. I could see my reflection in his eyes, and I saw my eyes filled with fierce determination.
