Today I will not Stress Over Things I can't Control.

"Ano bang nakain mo at naka-turtle neck ka, bff? Kainit-init ng panahon!" Akira exclaimed, raising an eyebrow at her. She was taking a bite of her cake.

Andito sila ngayon sa Akira's Cafe. Sean, her fiancé, had dropped her off after picking her up from home. He had explained that he needed to finish some paperwork at their company, bago sila pumunta sa boutique to try on the gowns and tuxedos.

She was surprised when he told her that everyone else had already tried on their outfits and it was just them left.

How was that even possible?

Sinabi niya pa na settled na ang venue, and the decorations were all her favorite colors and flowers. But when she asked him how he knew all that, his phone rang, indicating a call, kaya hindi siya sinagot nito hanggang sa makarating sila sa Akira's Cafe.

"I'm just cold," sagot niya kay Akira.

The only reason she was wearing this was because of the "kolokoy" who had invaded her room last night.

Nang magising siya kinamumagahan wala na si Sean sa tabi niya, muntik niya pang inakalang panaginip lang lahat ng nangyari ng gabing yon.

But when she went to the bathroom, she saw in the mirror that she was wearing a large black t-shirt that almost reached her knees.

That wasn't what shocked her, though. When she moved closer to the mirror, she saw that her neck was covered in hickeys. It was like he'd marked every inch of it. As she took off the shirt, she saw even more hickeys on her chest and even her tummy.

"What if I turn off the air conditioning here so you can change your clothes, bff?" Akira said, laughing playfully. Sinamaan niya naman ito ng tingin, but Akira just laughed even harder.

"Bebe, have you chosen one yet?" Tanong ni Ashy.

Ashy was referring to the cake. Siya dapat kasi ang pipili ng cake para sa wedding. Sean was supposed to be with her, but he said he needed to finish his remaining paperwork so he could be with her all the time.

She was thrilled by his words, pero miss niya na talaga ito, kahit na saglit lang sila na nagkahiwalay.

She was scared.

She was scared that she might become too dependent on him and wouldn't be able to let go in the future.

What if he found someone who was truly meant for him and left her?

She didn't know if she could handle it, especially if she got used to be depending on him. That's why she didn't know how to control her feelings.

"Not yet, be," she sighed before answering. She couldn't think straight.

She was starting to think that maybe "S" and Sean were the same person. He knew everything about her, even her favorites. But still, she couldn't just assume. She needed to observe more.

She was about to tell her friends to choose the cake for her when her phone started ringing. Kaya kinuha niya ang phone niya para makita kung sino ang tumatawag.
