Ayama looked at her family's surprised expressions calmly. Aside from her uncle who simply rose his brow in amusement, her family was pretty much dumbfounded.

"Could you elaborate?" Her brother lightly coughed before he spoke. He was quite startled in fact. But he was the first to calm himself.

Ayama stared back at them, nodded as she nonchalantly told her story.

"I was baffled by what uncle told me in here last time I was here... so I was planning to visit him to let him explain further. However, there was a threat towards my supposed-to-be emotional factor and I felt restless. From what you've described, feeling restless is when you can't wait for another second with doing anything. When I felt that, I left class and had a flight here."

"Can you tell us what's your emotiona-"

"No."

"Okay."

They looked at each other helplessly.

The last time Ayama came here, she had told them that she found it. She finally found an emotional factor but was yet to have emotions.

They were curious about what could move her... but she refused to tell them.

Though extremely concerned, it's not like they could do something about it.

Ayama wasn't one to appreciate outside help unless she completely asked for it.

Regarding the reason why she won't tell them, it was because Ayama knew that they deeply care about her. And her emotional factor wasn't a thing.

If they knew... they would surely...

She can't feel but it doesn't mean that she doesn't care. She's rational and knows what they could feel but it doesn't mean that she understands.

Even now, she was finding a way to let the two sides worry not without offending the other.

Just like her uncle. He cares but it doesn't mean that he could feel.

Her uncle looked at her with recognition. understanding why she won't tell them.

He once found it too... but he lost it.

He told her about it. To have it and keep it, else it's gone.

"Cannot be retrieved, cannot be found again. Just gone."

After that meeting, Ayama was planning to go back to Japan. Only for her family members to look at her with expectations.

If it was, as usual, she wouldn't really care as she can't understand the emotional reason why they would want her to stay.

But since she had felt a little bit... she had understood what their eyes meant.

She had felt it some time ago... expectation. It was a very good feeling when reciprocated but disappointing when not.

Though her family won't come to that, she can't help but look at her grieving mother.

She could only sigh internally as she helplessly accepts.

Though surprise, her grandfather, parents, and siblings were joyous that she'll stay and excitedly prepared for a feast.

Because of her mother's coaxing, she was kept in the villa for 3 nights and could only return by the fourth day.

Before she left, her older brother handed her some games from his company.
