[side story 1 part 2]

Ayama got home.

This time, it was her twin siblings who opened the door.

"Yacchan~"Yacchi."

Saiki, who was following just a little bit behind, didn't even felt surprise now.

In the end, since they already knew about him, he was also invited inside.

Ayama's older brother narrowed his eyes on Saiki the moment he sat on the sofa. Her older sister on the other hand, had been bothering Ayama for the inside story.

After preparing some snacks, she settled down beside Saiki who was feeling tad bit awkward from the way her older brother stared at him... without saying a word.

The three members of the Miyamizu family then noticed two sets of snacks.

Apparently, Ayama separated hers and Saiki's from theirs.

A gloomy expression covered the twin's faces, in oppose to the excitement of their mother.

"How was school, you two~?" Mother Hina asked as she munched on the cookies.

The other two snapped out of their gloomy mode as they looked at Ayama excitedly.

"..."

Ayama stared at them before shrugging.

"The usual."

"..."..."

Seeing her older siblings' deadpanned expression, Ayama couldn't help but chuckle out of amusement.

This small expression made the four looked at her in both surprise and warmth.

Her older siblings even more so.

They were so glad... to see her smiling happily now.

Since they were in Japan, it was decided that they'll have ramen.

Ayama was about to volunteer herself and Saiki to buy when her older brother volunteered himself.

"Ah. But you don't know where the store is."

Brother Yunan shrugged, "Then have him lead the way for me."

"..."

Ayama only looked at Saiki once before agreeing.

Brother Yunan looked at Saiki with sincerity before bowing, "Thank y--."

"I love Ayama..."

"..."

"...so please, let me take care of her."

Saiki bowed before Yunan did. His voice unyielding despite being monotone.

At this point, Yunan smirked before scoffing.

"Hmph. You're the only person we can hand her over with anyway. You can do... so much more than we can for her."

Saiki stared back. His eyes firm as he promised to himself... that he'll always make sure to let her feel... the happiness she should have had since she was born.

When Saiki and Brother Yunan came home, Ayama took a look at Saiki to see a delighted expression.

As delighted as it is despite being stoic.

They ate ramen and spend the day playing board games.

Just like that, the three plus one had their fun.

When it was sundown, Ayama sent off Saiki home.
