Her Story

There was a king, long long time ago.

To be the most powerful, he wish to be so.

He could give anything for this wish to happen.

For unruly subjects, his kingdom was given.

His heart's wish was soon heard.

His unruly subjects will soon be disturbed.

A wandering witch pass by their kingdom, the king's hope was soon spurred.

"Let her come," the king said calmly yet the subjects thought it was absurd.

For the witch's bouncing joyful steps strikes fear to the common people.

Her smiles gave chills, their lips would mutter how the smile look so evil.

The king paid no mind as the witch came to his abode.

Mayhaps, this could be it. He watched with narrowed eyes as the witch, to his throne, strode.

"My beloved king, you might not know, but you're the one who called me here. From far away, your wish, I could hear."

The king furrowed his brows, his silence meaning for the witch to continue her spiel.

The witch smiled gently, yet it felt so unreal.

"You own a country, you own the throne. But you're not capable to hold what you own." The witch shook her head, not the least bit bothered by their glare from disrespecting the king, "Your subjects overpower you, like a puppet king, with no real power, mocking smiles were thrown at you. But I could give you a deal, lest your throne get snatched too."

"State your deal."

The witch laughed out loud, scaring off the soldiers.

"If you seal the deal, you'll no longer be able to feel."

The king was startled.

"What do you mean?"

"A king whose emotions are sealed, his true care for the kingdom will soon be revealed. How much of it is selfish desire, how much of it will earn the people's ire? A gamble to see, how this kingdom will turn out under your absolute custody."

The king gulped as he stared at the witch, 'Was it absolute custody... or just plain tyranny...'

But it is his wish, laid out for him especially.

"Yes. I would also like to see."

Ayama came from the Miyamizu family.

She has two siblings.

One older brother and one older sister, they were twins.

In total, her family members numbers to seven, including her parents, her grandfather, her uncle, and herself.

Their family had an emotional illness, from birth they were all emotionless. Her mother married into the family despite knowing that. Because she believes... that they will regain their emotions, just like their father, uncle, and grandfather.
