I texted jenn about the situation and she met me at the Pizza Hut. We ate and I tried to build the courage to go back home which I eventually have to do.
Richard also let me know that it seems like she's planning on being there for a while. I was always jealous of her, her and Brandon has like a thing. It hurts right now especially him knowing damn well that I don't want anything to do with her
I open the front door slowly and quietly. I would love to just sneak to my room but I have to go through the living room. I can slowly see them all on the couches. Everyone seems bored and my heart sinks when I see Charlotte sitting on Brandon's lap. He seemed a little bothered and goes on his phone seeming frustrated. Just then my phone dings.
B🐝: Ri you almost home?? It's getting late I can go get you if you need I don't want you walking in the dark...
It's sweet he's thinking about me. But he seems occupied.
"I don't want to even acknowledge that bitch bro what do we do to go by?" Jenn whispers. Then the best idea pops in my head, Joels been wanting to work on some beats and lyrics for some songs. I tell her to come with me but wait at the edge of the living room.
We walk in quietly and I can't help but look at Brandon first. He tenses and looks like he wants to push Charlotte off but doesn't. I dart my eyes to joel and think focus Aria focus on getting out of this situation.
"Aria! You've um changed hey!" Charlotte says. I don't even look at her and don't respond walking over to Joel and whispering his ear.
"Let's go to my room to work on music you and I both know you don't wanna be here"
He smiles and nods his head. He gets up and I look at Brandon in the corner of my eye with a clenched jaw. None of my business, none of my business forget about him. It'll never be the way it used to be.
We escaped that one and safely made it to my room. After about an hour apparently Brandon took Charlotte out and the 3 of us went to the living room and all of us threw ideas around for cnco and prettymuch.
"That's a good ass beat bro that could be a good song.. we already have a song that we're gonna record" Nick says
"OUUU can i know the name??"
"Mmmm not yet Brandon and Zion wrote it well mostly Brandon but he said it's personal" Austin says.
"He was deep in his feels yo like more than me"
We all chuckle and keep on with lyrics.
