Since the baby was born a little early I'm staying in the hospital a little while. It's been the best because Brandon and I have had time to just sit there and admire our beautiful baby. And because I get to avoid Joel this way.
I don't and never felt anything more than friends with him. So when he told me he liked me I was in shock.
Right now I'm laying in the hospital bed and the baby next to me. Brandon went home to shower and eat and the guys did the same. And not to my surprise there's a knock at the door and I just knew who was going to come in and i was not prepared.
"Hey" Joel says coming in.
"Jo I- I don't I can't talk right now" I say reaching for my phone checking for any messages.
"Aria I think what we need is to talk and it's the only time I'll be alone with you"
"What's there to say Joel I have a child with the man I love, you were always like a brother to me"
"Not once did you feel something for me?"
Just then Brandon walked in with a bag of food
"No jo" I tell him
"What happened?" Brandon says coming closer sitting beside me on the bed, kissing me.
"Oh nothing he asked if he could get me some food, but you were already bringing me some" I say smiling.
"Thank you Joel but yeah I brought her some of my moms food" he says towards Joel.
"No yeah I get it" Joel says "excuse me I'm gonna give you guys some alone time I'm gonna go get some sleep" he says excusing himself leaving the room.
"You okay love? Any pain?" He saying rubbing my stomach.
"No Brandon thank you im all good" I say beginning to eat the amazing food he brought me.
