The week was pretty slow, we went to the studio for a bit in the morning and now it's 2pm and I'm walking to the cafe down the block to pick up some drinks for me and Jenn.

Not wanting to be completely alone I had jenn on call and an AirPod in my ear.

"Okay shh now jenn I'm about to order" I say getting up to the register.

"Good afternoon what can i get you"

"Good afternoon, I'll get two coffees"

I pay and sit at a nearby bench. After about 2 minutes someone sits beside me and i feel a sharp point on my side.

"Well, what a coincidence I see you here, huh?" Alex says into my ear.

"Alex please tell me that's not a knife I feel" I say the last part as a angry whisper and I look over at him.

"Sorry baby, but I had too, of i didn't you would've just walked away or called the police"

"Damn fucking right I would, now I want to cause I know for sure now your a psychopath"

"You look beautiful today" he says caressing my cheek, I put my hand up to push him away but he says

"Don't you fucking try to move me or I swear I'll jab this knife into you" I move my hand slowly down.

"There's cameras here Alex I bet they're recording you right now" trying to suggest to jenn that's still in my ear freaking out. She can't really do nothing but listen and record because she's at home while all the guys are in the studio.

"I Didn't come to hurt you Ari, I just never got to properly say goodbye, that's all I want"

"Why? Why come all this way to just say bye, you could've called"

"I- look I just want to hug you, feel you one more time"

"Hug? You came here for a hug?"

"YES, now stand up, calmly and slowly then hug me"

I hesitate but get up and Alex pulls me into his chest. He could feel how I was shaking but I tried to calm myself down, he's a coward. He could never actually hurt me.

He tries to lean down but I put my hand on his chest.

"I'm dating Brandon, Alex. As much as I know you don't like that you do have to respect that I'm in a relationship and I can't go around kissing other guys, I'm not like that, not like you" I say looking right into his eyes.

"Just give me one more chance"

"I'm sorry Alex but I'm- I'm in love. He was the one and always was"

I try to walk away but he doesn't let me "one more hug, please"

He pulls me back in his chest and looks down at me, then kisses my forehead.

I was saved but he barista calling my order and I quickly walked away grabbing my stuff and booking it for the door. He doesn't run after me, when I look back he was just standing there smiling. Something about the smile, kind of looked evil.

"Please tell me you recorded all that Jenn" I say realized I was still on a call with her

"Of course I fucking did, the guy is a lunatic. You have to get a restraining order or some shit"

"Nah he's stupid but not stupid enough to actually hurt me"

"What do we do with this recording? Expose his ass?"

"I'm not going down to his level, Jenn I just want that recording, just in case he wants to lie about any of that"

"Your too nice Ari, hurry home you almost had me calling 911 for you"

I laugh and tell her I'm on my way. Walking down the block was weird, people kept looking at me weirdly. It's like they knew who I was but they always had a disgusted look on their face. I try not to worry about it so much and rush home before anything else can happen.
