I did a little online shopping today to get some things for the baby and some time to write in a little journal I got to jot down any thoughts I had.
The house was quiet today due to everyone going to a party I declined and assured Brandon it was okay for him to go. He's been a bit stressed himself lately and it's good for him to have some fun. I walk down the stairs to the kitchen to grab a snack and see Joel sitting on the kitchen counter texting.
"You didn't go to the party?" I asked opening the fridge grabbing some fruits to cut.
"Nah I wasn't really in the mood" he responds
I begin cutting some strawberries and we sit in a comfortable silence but I can just feel like staring at me intently. I've been best friends with this guy for so long I know when something is bothering him.
"Que te pasa Joel? (What's wrong with you)" I say meeting his eyes.
"Hm?"
"Don't try it man I know you, I know when your overthinking like you are right now" I say putting the knife down and sitting in the chair across from him giving him all my attention.
"Talk to me" I add
He sighs and sets his phone down contemplating telling me.
"Okay okay I need to get this off my chest because I feel like if I don't I won't ever be happy..." he says
I start to feel worried but I nod telling him to continue.
"I've had the biggest crush on you Aria" he says shocking the hell out of me.....
