Brandon's pov

It's been about two weeks since I've been ignoring Charlotte completely. I've decided that if I want to ask Aria to be my girlfriend I have to straight up tell Charlotte about everything.

Get her out of the way so nothing can mess up me and Aria. I've already talked to Richard and told him about everything. He actually gave us all the good news about him and Jenn making it official.

I texted Charlotte simply 'downtown park at 3 to talk'. I get up from my bed and head down to eat before going to the park.

While heading to the front door I could see Richard and Jenn laying on the couch cuddling. I say bye. I wish one day I could be like that with Aria.

I haven't seen Ri at all today and I feel a bit sad without her right now. All I have to do is tell Charlotte and get out, come home and hang out with the most beautiful amazing girl. I wanted some greasy air to clear my head before so I sat at a cafe where I can eat outside and just look out.

I was walking I to the entrance of the park getting ready to approach her. I called Richard and had him on the call so he could listen with me, just in case I'm gonna need him to pick me up quick. I sit at a bench and try to calm my nerves.

I see a family all playing, a young couple chasing two little toddlers running around. Maybe one day me and Aria could have that. First i have to deal with all this. I decide to text Aria and ask if we can go out for dinner later, that's where I want to ask her. I want it to be special, her favorite food and a nice view after.

"Hey baby, you wanted to talk?" Charlotte says walking over trying to straddle me.

I push her off and she sits next to me pouting. "Please don't get on me, yeah I wanted to talk"

"I forgive you Brandon, it's okay I've missed you-"

"Forgive?? Nah I'm here to tell you I'm done with you, and that I'm asking out Aria later, so we're done."

"That girl? She's not even that pretty Brandon, I can give you everything you need. B i love you."

"Bullshit, I heard what you said at Brian's party Charlotte. I'm not stupid. I'm not falling for your shit"

"How?"

I get my phone out and play the recording. She just sits in shock.

"So don't try anything, I've seen through your bullshit and this just proves it. I hope you try to change and become a better person. But I want nothing to do with you ever, I'm happy where I am with who I'm with."

"I- Brandon it's not that big of a deal. Cmon we can just be like a thing, no ones home at my apartment. We could have some fun."

"Charlotte, for years I've defended you. I've told everyone that you've changed for the better. Hell you almost made me lose Aria again over your bull shit. So no I don't want to just hook up"

"Aria? She doesn't even look at you Brandon. She will never like you, plus she's no where near as pretty as I am, I could do better"

"You've got it all mixed up, I don't know what world you live in but if you opened your eyes for a second and see that no one actually like you, and the ones who do? They're just like you."

"If your gonna be all whiny today maybe I'll go fuck some other guy and you can call me when your done being mad"

"You do that. And don't wait for my call, I've moved on to someone WAY better"

I get up and walk away, not turning around when she calls my name. This wasn't very out of the ordinary, well it would be her being all whiny because she wanted me to desperately always put her on instagram or anything. But this time I don't plan on ever crawling back to her again.This huge wave of relief blows through me. I feel free.
