Brandon's pov
I can't get her off my mind. Lately it's all I've been thinking about. I want to make my move and was planning on doing it but I over heard her talking to Richard earlier.

Richard: my question Ari is do you still love him? Cause it seems like you are but your scared

Aria: I don't know Richard I- it's just that I just got out of this toxic ass relationship and I think what I'm feeling for Brandon right now is a rush and I think I need time to think about it all your right I- I'm scared.

Aria: what if he leaves again? He's done it before

I couldn't possibly leave right now not after knowing how I truly feel about her

Richard: if only you could see how he looks at you Ari, I don't think he can leave now.... we've all grown up I think he understands what he did was wrong and doesn't plan on leaving and you don't have to know right now you guys have time, no need to rush

Aria: yeah.... anyways I don't know why I'm stressing, he doesn't feel the same way... he's always saying that he's missed his BEST FRIEND so that's all I am to him, plus he's got Charlotte.

I walked away. And say on my bed for 3 hours thinking. I only call her best friend because I know she can't possibly be in love with me... like she said it's just the rush of not being with a toxic guy

Later....(Aria's pov)

I was gonna go see what Brandon was up to and heard him messing around with his beats and he was singing eyes off you from their older ep. I just stand there and admire his voice and compassion to the song.

"He always plays this song when he thinks of you" z pops up behind me. I whip my head to the side and give him a side hug

"I almost slapped you man, but how do you he's thinking about me?" I kind of had an idea but I wanted to hear his point of view.

"I don't really know how it connects to you but when we mentioned you or he looked at old stuff about you he always ends up singing this song, and gone 2 long"

I didn't really know about gone 2 long but I know my connection to eyes off you

"I came up with the chorus to eyes off you, I just can't take my eyes off of you, tell me anything you wanna do, I wrote it a long ass time ago and sang it to him and told him when he becomes famous and we're still best friends he would make a song out of it... when I was depressed I found out y'all released it on the ep and I- loved it it fit the lyrics perfectly"

Zion looks at Brandon who's now singing gone 2 long.

"He really missed you Ari, he knows he messed up big time he went dark, he wrote gone 2 long about you" he said. I kind of had a thought that maybe he regretted him leaving but I guess I now know.

Later...

After going a little sad I took zion to see my favorite places around the city.

We eventually saw Brandon at a spot me and him always went when we wanted to be alone. It filled my little heart knowing he remembered that place. We left and ate and went back home so zion can see my parents (who loved him more than me too)
