🌸 Kennen: Cute 🌸

You twitched in annoyance as Kennen lightning flashed around the room, laughing his ass off.

"It's not funny!" You pouted. Kennen came down from his high and wiped a couple of stray tears from his eyes.

"So you think you can keep up, huh?" Kennen said out of breath, "It's adorable that you think that way."

"Shut up, yordle." You grumbled.

"Aww."

"What in the name of Ionia is going on here? Why are there scrolls all over the place?" Yours and Kennen's master, Shen, walked into the room with slightly agitated eyes.

"Kennen was having the time of his life, laughing at me and mocking me." You crossed your arms like a child.

"What did you do this time, Kennen?" Shen turned to him.

"Ok ok get this— I asked (Y/N) over there to try and keep her eyes on me no matter how fast I could go, yknow, to practice sharpening her senses and focus..."

"Right?" Shen rose a brow.

"Well, when I did, I swear, she moved her head from side to side so fast it was so cute to see her even try to keep up!" And at that, Kennen started cracking up again.

You flushed furiously and yelled, "Shut up!"

Shen closed his eyes and sighed. But then his eyes widened back again. "Cute?"

"Yeah!" Kennen clutched his stomach, falling to the floor and kicking his legs up in the air so fast he might have actually started to fly.

"I see." Shen looked over at you with slightly amused eyes while you shook your hands in the air.

"No no no no! Not that jerk!" You yelled with pink cheeks.

Then, as quickly as he started, Kennen regained his composure and looked up at you both, "Wha what?"

"It's nothing!" You stormed out of room.

You stormed out of the temple itself and started running through the Ionian grassy fields. The sky was now pink mixed with yellow and orange accompanied by a setting sun. The clouds were nothing but grey wisps as the day was coming to an end.

You ran to the top of a hill, out of breath and slight tears forming in your eyes. You wiped them away and sat on the soft, lush green grass. You pulled your knees in and sighed.

You had thought about what Kennen had said, how stupid he was.. and...

Wait

Why would he call you cute...

"Yo."

You flinched when you saw that Kennen was literally right by your side and very close at that.

He also had something behind his back.

"...Hi." You merely squeaked out. Kennen chuckled and sat down beside you. You slightly turned your head away. "Why are you here?"

"Well Shen ordered me to check on you and since I can get from there to here no problem..." Kennen explained.

"Go away." You scowled and turned your self away from him.

Suddenly, you felt a paw rest on top of your shoulder. You still didn't look at him.

"(Y/N), 'm really sorry if I offended you or anything. But hey! I can't help but think that you were... ..." Kennen slowly grew silent.

"What?" You turned to him. "Finish that sentence. What did you think of me?"

Kennen looked at your frown, then into your eyes. He looked away and pulled his mask a bit more upward bashfully, "I thought it was cute. Really cute."

You slightly flushed and muttered, "Shut up, yordle."

Kennen slightly smiled at that. "A-Also. These are for you." He pulled out a couple of flowers behind his back and quickly gave them to you. "To apologize even further and show I'm sincere.."

"Oh. Thanks." You have one of the tiniest smiles to him and gladly accepted them.

"Cute..." Kennen whispered but loud enough for you to hear. At this you slightly smirked and quickly and lightly kissed the top of his head. When you pulled away, you smiled even more, "Thank you, Kennen!"

And it was because of this that a beautiful relationship between a human and a yordle followed.

Well, the next day anyway since a flustered Kennen ran and hid away in his chamber. Cute.
