"Aphelios!"

The young man turned and smiled at the sight of you approaching him. "How are you tonight?" You questioned. He paused for a moment, thinking it over before taking your hand in his, flashing a small smile. "Good?" You asked, to which Aphelios nodded. "Good." You confirmed and chuckled, bringing him in for a small embrace. On the surface he seemed to be enjoying your company. Arms embracing one another while listening to your exploits from today. His shy smile only grew.

But on the inside, he was filled with uncertainty. His sister whispering words of doubt and disapproval. Aphelios tried but ultimately couldn't ignore them as they seemed to be somewhat true. He wasn't supposed to have something like this with you. He wasn't even supposed to be there.

The moon loomed over Mount Targon. It was the only source of light that made your expressions visible. And the night surrounding it hid everything else.

"Thank you for the lovely night, Aphelios." You smiled softly at the tall man. He dipped his head slightly, nodding at you. His small smile only widening yours. You took big steps towards him and brought him in for a quick embrace before scurrying away with a slight blush on your face.

As Aphelios watched you disappear into the distance, his small smile was immediately replaced with a sad frown. He heard his dear sister's cold whispers, "When are you going to stop fooling around?" Aphelios looked to the ground, possibly in thought. He heard his sister's sigh, "(Y/N) is getting in the way of your faith." He flinched slightly.

And so, Aphelios suddenly decided, that it would be the last time he will ever see you again. For your sake, and for his faith.

Jesus Christ I'm sorry this lovely marksman with over 20 abilities (I think) has proven to be quite difficult to write
