But anyways enjoy!

You opened the door, only for your eyes to land on the person you despised the most. When your rival looked like he was just finishing a transaction, you smirked slightly and skipped on over.

"Well, well, well."

Jericho Swain turned and he almost instantly rolled his eyes, a rough sigh escaping from him. You placed your hand on your hip, "If it isn't good old Jerry!"

"Do not call me that." He grumbled slightly, glaring down at you. You frowned playfully, "Aw c'mon, don't be so cold."

"What do you want, (L/N)?" Swain sighed. You glanced over to his bird companion, their blue eyes seeming to darken towards you. "Nothing really, just here to get supplies. For something that's none of your business." You shrugged with an innocent smile. You walked up to the old shopkeeper, slightly pushing Swain to the side, and began listing off materials that you needed. You heard Swain 'tsk' behind you before placing down a little pouch of gold coins. The shopkeeper took a glance at the thing before sighing and shaking their head, making your eyes slightly widen.

"Sorry kid, I've run out of all of them." The shopkeeper murmured, pushing back the little pouch towards you. "Eh?? Since when??"

"Since err, right now actually." The shopkeeper nodded, making you turn towards a despicable artificer. His artificial eye looked down towards you in pity, but a small smile decorated his features, "Mm, what a shame," he muttered, but it was loud enough. You shot him a glare before snatching your little pouch of gold, "So you intend on making yourself a hextech robot. Huh, that will surely impress the public, hm?"

"That's an idiotic idea. One of your worst. Now if you'll excuse me," he placed his hands on your sides before lifting you up, making you gasp. "H-Hey!" You stuttered, your cheeks slightly red. Swain placed you to the side before continuing to talk with the shopkeeper. "Tsk." You stormed off, opening and shutting the big door behind you. You turned to walk off when a girl tapped your shoulder. "Uhm, excuse me?" Crossing your arms, you turned towards her, "Yes?"

"Oh! (Y/N)! Do you happen to know where... ermm.. where Swain is?" She asked, fumbling with her fingers. "Swain who?" You rolled your eyes. Her blue eyes widened, "No! You must know who he is! You're his most famous self-proclaimed rival!"

You smiled at the fact, "Well I wouldn't call myself SUPER famous no— hey, did you say self-proclaimed???" The girl chuckled, "I mean, Swain himself says he has no rivals since he doesn't really do things for others. Why would anyone see him as competition?"

"Well, he had to place those hextech components onto him somehow! He must be a genius, a sleeping dragon just waiting to be woken up." You uncrossed your arms. "Anyway, why do you want to see him?" You pointed to her.

"W-Well..." she looked to the side, her cheeks flushed pink. You sighed. Ah yes, one of those.

You pointed towards the door you shut, "In there." The girl's eyes widened, "Ah thank you so much (Y/N)!" She quickly rushed in. You sighed and finally turned to walk away, but kept your eyes on the window. The girl was already clinging to his arm, talking about something seemingly exciting. You pouted to yourself, "At least I'm not as annoying as her.." To your surprise however, Swain turned towards her with a smile, his arm wrapping around her shoulder. You almost choked on your spit. Instantly stopping, you hurried towards the window, placing your hands on the glass. 'What in Piltover is he- wait.. why do I care?' You slowly backed away, looking down at your hands. "Agh!" You threw them up, and walked away.

hours later-

You watched as the sun started to set. The sky dancing in pink, orange, and some purple. "I hate him. That's all. You don't want the people you hate to be happy, right?.." you swung your legs from the bench you were sitting on. "Crap. I've been thinking about this all day instead of searching for another store.." Just when you were about to get up, a bag was lowered in front of you. Your eyes looked up only to be met with blue, artificial ones. "Here."

You returned your gaze to the bag. "What am I supposed to do with this?" You asked, taking it in your hands. Opening it, you reached inside. "Wait, this is..."

"What you need?" Swain finished, walking around to face you. You shot him a glare before closing it, "Why are you doing this? What's in it for you?"

Swain only chuckled, which even caught you by surprise, "It's amusing really. This is all for you to get off my back."

"Wha—" "I didn't know you thought of me as such a genius." He mused, leaning down towards you. Your eyes widened and your cheeks flushed for the 30th time that day, 'She told him that????' You screamed in your head, 'So embarrassing!!' You cleared your throat, "Underestimating someone often leads to your doom."

"Hm," this only led to him leaning closer down towards you, "Really, now?" You backed up a bit when you felt his breath on yours, "Hey, w-what." You silently cursed yourself for stuttering. He stared at you intently before slightly nodding and giving an approving grin. Swain leaned back, fixing his posture. "Uhm, hello? Is anyone there? Jerry?" You joked, shifting in your seat. Swain shook his head, "What I mean to say, is that you could be of use to me."

"Ee come again?" You blinked. "You seem smart enough, with your ideas and all. Why not work with me for a while?"

"That's not what I meant. I mean, why should I?" You crossed your arms, "Why not ask your little fan girl?.." you muttered. "Hm? Could it be? The great (Y/N) is jealous?" You heard the bench creak beside you. You turned to where he was sitting, "Of course not! That's absurd! You may be the one with the terrible ideas." You smirked, shaking your head.

"Then, how about this for a terrible idea?" Before you could respond, you felt his lips crash into yours. You whimpered into the kiss and placed your hands onto his cold chest, then he pulled away. "W-W-What the hell was that??"

"An idea." He said nonchalantly. "What kind?" You hesitantly asked, taking your hands off him. "You tell me," a small smile forming on his face, he held his chin. You blushed, and looked away, "Well.. I wouldn't call it... terrible."
