"Okay. First order of business. I'm sure you've noticed Miss Y/n. Everyone say hello."
A chorus of voices greeted me. Some tired, some bored and some genuinely interested.
South bounced in his seat next to me, he could never seem to sit still. I gave him a quick glance and he grinned the widest smile I've ever seen. He looked like the Cheshire Cat, but less menacing and more cute. I gave him a warm smile back. This caused his face to turn extremely red and him to clutch my hand. He wouldn't let go. Not that I minded. I needed that reminder that I still had friends here. Honestly, it was comforting.
"Even though she's here do not let her presence affect your votes and or answers. Understand?"
Most countries nodded but two separate countries sat there, without reaction but still with a upset look on their faces. One of them was sitting near South and the other was next to Poland

"North Korea, Germany. Do you have anything to say? Or are you going to sit there looking like you just ate a lemon."
Both didn't answer but still glared at me as if I had murdered their whole family.
Next thing I know South is clinging to me, staring at Japan with worried and fear filled eyes.
I turned to Japan who had the most jealous facial expression. When he saw me giving him a confused glance he gave me a nervous look and turned away.
"So the first and foremost thing we need to discuss. We need to revote."
I completely froze and went tense, my legs shaking.
What if they change their minds once they revote. What if they decide that they hate me? What if they vote to send me back-
"Who votes to keep her here."
I could hear my pulse in my head and I gripped South's hand.
He noticed my frantic nature, threw his hand up and waved it wildly.

"Me me me! Me! UK! I want her here!"
UK groaned and gestured for South to calm down.
Thankfully South had rubbed off on the other countries and others began to raise their hands, giving me kind looks.
Every other country except the two countries known as North Korea and Germany. They didn't raise their hands.
"Brother. Put your arm down now." North snapped trying to pull South's hand down.
South fought back and tried to shove North off of him.
"No! I have my own mind! I have my own choice!"
"Brother. Listen to me. You put your arm down right now-"
"North Korea. Leave your brother alone right now. You're not in charge of what he thinks." UK glared at North
North put his arm down but not without pointing the middle finger at UK

"It's settled then. Y/n is staying here with us until we can make sure her father won't find her."
Countries began cheering and smiling at me. For me. They care for me.
I looked across the table to see Russia with a relieved look on his face, with Australia patting him on the back. The one thing that was strange to me was America. He wasn't doing anything, he wasn't saying anything, And it scared me.
Amidst the riot I got up and walked over to him.
"Meri? Are you alright?"
He sat up straight and flipped his head around to look at me. When he realized it was just me he sighed.
"Oh! Y/n, yeah I'm fine, I'm really surprised. I just needed to process it."
I chuckled, put my arms around his neck and hugged him.
America put his hand on my arm and squeezed it.
"You should go back to your seat now, people are starting to shut up."
I nodded and made my way back over to my seat.

"Next. What have you found out about d/n. If anyone has any new information please come forwards."
Germany raised his hand.
"Yes Germany?"
"I've been able to intercept radio waves from when he's been sending information to what I assume is his accomplice."
"That is wonderful information, you must show me after we've finished our meeting.
Germany smirked and adjusted his glasses. He exaggerated his pride by trying to look snobby and posh.
I covered my mouth to stifle my laughter and he made eye contact with me. He began laughing as well. We both turned red and tried to muffle our giggles. I don't know why this was so funny but apparently it was funny enough to make me start crying.
South started giggling as well but he was able to stop. I tried to catch my breath and gave out one last chuckle before breathing normally.

Then and only then was when I realised everyone was staring at me.
I became extremely flustered and tried to cover my face.
"Germany, Y/n. Have you finished your giggling fit?"
I quickly nodded and buried my head deeper into my arms.
"Thank you. Does anyone else have new information that they would like to contribute?"
America looked like he was about to say something but decided against it.
"No? Then meeting adjourned. Remember everyone we have another in 5 days. Sooner if something happens."
Everyone got up and a few countries walked over to me.
I recognized China, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
"Hello again y/n! This is Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia!"

I shook their hands and they immediately began swarming me with questions and showering me with compliments.
"Aha, please calm down! I'll answer all of your questions just please give me a minute."
China stood in front of me
"Guys, please give her some space. She's probably still shocked about the meeting and coming here."
They nodded
"I'm so sorry, we shouldn't have done that."
Singapore sighed.
I smiled warmly
"It's fine! Don't worry about it!"
Then someone grabbed me from behind and started pulling me away.
"Japan! What are you doing?"
"Y/n I'm sorry to startle you like this but we need to go. Come on. You'll understand later."
I waved sadly at the countries behind me and they waved back.
"再见 (goodbye) Y/n! I'll get America to give me your number so that I can text you!"
China called

"Okay! Talk to you later!"
