Maktaq or muktuk (ᒪᒃᑕᒃ) is one of the most popular traditional Inuit foods!

It is frozen and raw or breaded and fried whale skin and blubber of the bowhead whale or beluga or even narwhal and orca.

It's usually been referred to as Eskimo sushi because most people prefer to eat it raw and sometimes like to dip it in soy sauce but again it is also sometimes deep-fried or even pickled (the pickled one isn't really that popular and for good reason) but the most common way is to have it raw and frozen because it has a nutty and savory flavor.

I like mine raw and slightly frozen.💗

Sometimes people like to eat it with rice and fresh veggies and berries like a sushi or a salad💗
