*traditionally woman had short hair most of the time that was either bound up into a style or cut into a short choppy pixie or bob
*for the most part, it was men that had long hair with the exception of kids and the elderly
*men would usually grow their hair to their shoulders but some would grow it out to their hips and they would usually have it lose but sometimes they would cut the sides or bangs or wear braids or buns typically at the sides of the head
*having dark shiny hair with a pronounced hair part in the center was generally considered to be beautiful
*Both men and women would wear jewelry ribbon and flowers in their hair but the type of jewelry and its placement varies upon tribe and region
