After they'd left the small old store, the duo walked around for a bit more. Wooyoung kept up his promise and took it upon himself to show San around as though he was a tourist and not kept there against his will.

For a second though, San forgot he was basically there as a prisoner. Of course he would never admit this outloud but he was actually enjoying himself. And the longer they walked around the more he realized Naex wasn't as ugly a place as he envisioned it.

Birds flew over their heads without a care in the world. Cherry blossom trees lined both sides of the street they were walking down, their pastel colored leaves danced in wind, some flying off the tree allowing the breeze to carry it wherever it wished.

There were a few people that walked past them and would greet Wooyoung but give San a weird look before walking off. A look that said 'who the hell is that?' So many people had given him that same look in just the last half hour that he wasn't really fazed by it anymore.

Still, it was somewhat rejuvenating to finally be out and about. He felt like it had been at least a month since he was outside basking in warmth of the sun. He missed this. He missed his freedom.

"This is nice" Wooyoung speaks up, breaking the comfortable silence that had fallen between them as they walked.

San looks at him with a slightly annoyed expression, the reason being because the vampire had interrupted his tranquil headspace. "What is?"

"This. As in us. Taking a walk. It's nice" Wooyoung mutters, his shoulders lifting momentarily in a shrug. He glances at San when he could feel a fair of strong hazel colored eyes in him. The moment their gaze meets San scoffs, rolls his eyes then looks away.

"I mean it's not like you forced me to 'take a walk' with you" San says. He tries to make his comment come out at bitter and angry but he knew it was forced. And he knew Wooyoung could sense this too. If anything he was glad Wooyoung dragged him out.

Maybe today wasn't totally... boring. I actually kind of had fun.

Wooyoung chuckles at him while shaking his head. This causes San to look at him with a raised brow. "What?"

"Nothing" His small laugh does down. "I was just wondering how long you're gonna keep up this pretentious cold exterior you seem to have going on" The vampire speaks so bluntly that San wasn't even sure he heard him right.

San opens his mouth to respond but didn't know what to say. In the end he settles with the only reasonable response. Silence.

Wooyoung blinks at him expectantly, a look of surprise evident on his face. "No snarky response. That's the first"

"Do you want to keep your arms or what?" San threatens.

"There it is" Wooyoung exclaims sarcastically, another laugh ensuing, this one louder than the last. San shoves Wooyoung playfully, the corners of his lips lifting into a small smile.
