Quick A/N:

Ok so I just want to apologize for pretty much disappearing off the face of the earth. The past week has just been so hard for me. I've been so unmotivated to do anything. I'm even seriously behind in school and I've called in 'sick' multiple times at work. I'm just trying to get back into the groove of things now.

I promise I'll be more consistent with updates 🙏🏿 I added some finishing touches to the last chapter of the book today and I cant wait for you guys to read it! 🤍

Stay safe :)))

That morning both the oldest and the youngest prince were getting their measurements done for their ball outfits. Hongjoong looks out the window with a bored expression as he stood on the fitting platform. The seamstress walked around him with a measuring tape getting all the required measurements for his custom suit.

Jongho also stood on another fitting platform with a different seamstress attending to him. One of his good friends, a member of the richer families in Naex, had busied himself trying to solve a crossword puzzle on the large lounge couch along the wall "Mm Jongho, what's the name of the largest river in Naex?" The vampire, Raven, asks outloud to no one particular. He was laying upside down on the couch, his feet up on the backrest and head down where his feet should be. His dark hair flopped back and exposed his smooth forehead.

Jongho looks up in thought for a brief second before quickly realizing that he too had no idea. He looks to his older brother for help. Hongjoong simply rolls his eyes playfully. "Hantan" He mutters and Raven smiles triumphantly.

"Thanks Joong" He says cutely and Hongjoong gagged outloud at the older's child like personality. Though Raven was older than him by a few years the prince seemed a lot more mature out of the two. Perhaps because as the heir to the throne he had no choice but to grow up faster than his peers.

"Yah- I told you to stop calling me that" Hongjoong whines but Raven, who was still looking at him upside down, blows a raspberry at him.

"Never" He smirks at the short prince. The sun illuminating the room from the open large Victorian style windows making his jet black hair appear dark blue and his grey eyes almost opaque like.
