As San made his way back to the castle he began to think about Wooyoung, something he'd been doing quite often lately.
He was torn really.
Part of him was just happy to finally be leaving this place and go home but another part of him thought 'what about Wooyoung? What's gonna happen to us?'.
And dammit does that part annoy him so much simply because it kept ringing and nagging in the back of his head constantly.
As he made his way into the castle and towards the flight of long stairs leading to Wooyoung's room that's when a voice calls out to him. "San! Hold up!"
San's attention is snapped back to reality and he looks back at the source of the voice. The guard that has been escorting him was quick to bow in greeting to the youngest prince.
"Good evening prince Jongho" The vampire says in his deep baritone voice while San just looked at the vampiric prince, a brow raised in question.
"Evening. Uhm can I get a moment alone with him? I can walk him the rest of the way" Jongho smiles politely at the guard and the taller vampire nods in understanding before walking away leaving the two of them in the empty silence of the courtyard at the bottom of the grand stairs.
Jongho waits until the guards footsteps slowly fade off before he looks at San with a certain sparkle in his silvery grey eyes. San bites his bottom lip, not having a clue where this was going.
"So... did you want something?"
Jongho wrings his hands nervously and takes in a sharp breath. "I'm sure Wooyoung has probably already told you my birthday is coming up and so is my beautillion"
San doesn't say anything, instead he nods curtly as of to say 'go on'.
"I was letting you know that I'm inviting you to come as my plus one" He finally spits out and San's eyes widen slowly. To say he was taken back would be an understatement. He wasn't even sure how to respond. Although with the way the vampire was looking at him with those big hope filled eyes he didn't think he had any choice but to say yes.
Finally San nods and forces a tight lipped smile. "S-sure" He mutters. See, if Sehyoon were here he would urge San to takes the chance to basically lead Jongho on just as he'd done to Wooyoung but the last thing San wants is to get involved with another prince. It'll only make escaping that much harder.
Jongho smiles widely at him. "Great. Uhm.. I'll get someone to find you an outfit tomorrow. I'm sure they can put together a last minute look"
Yeah.. let's hope... San simply smiles awkwardly at him.
San opens up Wooyoung's bedroom door, enters and closes the large door behind him. Wooyoung who'd been waiting patiently on his bed for San's return immediately sits up with an excited smile. His smile slowly falls when he sees the dumbfounded look on the dark elf's face.
