Chapter 2

Aaliyah's P.O.V

Today is just a streak of bad luck! First I get lost in the woods. Second I almost died by falling off a cliff. Third I almost died of embarrassment! And forth I'm falling into a hole!!!can this day get any worse?!

As I thought that I fell onto the ground and the end of the hole ride. I looked around until I realized what I'm looking at.

"A...book store?",I said to myself. I stood up and was wandering around. I was sorta fond of books so I might like thus place. But don't forget I just fell into a hole and ended up here. This place I doubt is a normal place.

Then I heard something coming out of the slide hole I came out of.

"Ouch, that hurt. Who's idea was it to put a hole up there?",asked Aden. Of course he has to follow me into that hole.

"That would be me,have a problem boy?",asked a someone from behind. I turned around quickly to see this strange old lady. Wore her hair down. She had black curly hair with black eyes,and wore a black robe. Not really a good place to dress like that old lady."N-no not at all. But can you explain why there's a hole up there and leads here?",asked Aden.

"I can"."well would you tell us?",asked Aden."fine,I made that hole for people to come down here to buy",she said not looking like she cared that much."But why would make it underground? Its hardly likely for people to come down here",Said Aden.

"Look boy,do you know what kind of place this is?",she asked."No"."what is it?",he asked."its a secret store. That has certain types of properties. Do you think if I go to the mall and put my store there it will be secret or if I'll get the same amount of customers I already get down here?",she asked.

"....",that's what I thought."what is this place anyway?" I asked. She turned to me nearly noticing I'm here."oh,this is a place if mystery. Very few come down here,mostly since its in the woods. But that means very few people come and think this is destiny. So,they buy. Oh and all this stuff here.... Its no lie",the old lady said."what do you mean no lie?",I asked."go read a title of one of the books",she told me. I got a near book next to and read the title."oh I get what you mean now",I said. The book I got was a skinny book like the ones little kids get. It said "facts about mythical creatures". I did have an eye for magic when I was a kid. And wished it was real. I still do. If this lady is telling the truth then this is what I've been waiting for my whole life."oh and if your Interested. I have a few potions myself. Made out of this not known to man. Very hard to find. So if your interested you may buy what ever you'd like hehe...",said the lady as I look around and spot a book that doesn't look like a children's book.

"What about that one?",I point to the book and walk to the book and is about to pick it up.

"Wait! Not that on-",the lady was saying until a black cat jumped on the book from under and looked at me in the eye. I was just trying not to move to make any sudden movements. It eyes me suspiciously then calms down and walks down and purrs around my legs with it fluffy tail.

"Oh my,I see you made friends with Lucy",replied the lady.

"Lucy? Aw what a cute name! Can I keep her?",I asked. I'm always fond with cats that like me so I'm not all scratched up.

"Well she does like you. So I guess it's alright",she said. I squeaked of joy and hugged the little kitty gently. It purred which made me even more attached to her!

"Oh sorry,what were you saying about the book?",I asked. She looked at back at me and said,"oh uh,never mind. I was just gunna uh,warn you about the cat!yeah...",she said nervously.

"Hmm...okay then. Can I buy it? How much?",I asked

"How much you got on you?",she asked.

"Like about,$15 bucks?",I said nervously.

"Hmm...deal!",she said and grabbed the money I just got out of my back pack.

"What about you boy?",the lady asked rudely.

"Still don't trust this place. Don't you think it's strange that people disappear into these woods and we just happen to cross by some witch craft?",he ask looking at me. What? People disappear into these woods? But then why would he come here?And why did emina ask me if these rumors where true?she knows all about this forest and would of told me about it being a place where people are missing....right?

"Oh you heard about those rumors?well...they're just rumors...I mean why would you think I would do such a thing?! It's mad I tell you! And if it was me,don't you think you shouldn't mess. With me boy?"the old lady asked....

"......."

"That's what I thought,okay now if that's all you two are going to buy them go!",she said shooing us away

"WAIT! I'll buy something....",said Aden. Wait,but didn't he just go over on how he doesn't trust this place?

"Oh so you finally give in? Alright then,have a look around and if you like anything feel free to buy it",the last said going around making sure everything Is in place.

*minutes after deciding*

"Okay I got it!",said Aden with a book thats not as small as the other books.

"Okay that'll be....",lady looks at book..."$50.00 if you may",she said helding out a hand

Aden looks irritated but looks in pocket.

"All I got is $46.95..."said looking at the crumbled up money...

"Eh,close enough",said the lady as she takes the money from his hand.

"Okay you may leave",she says not taking her eyes off the money...

"Now turn around and close your eyes... And count to 10. If you peek even a little bit...well the. You might find out why people are missing in these woods...",she said

"Wait wha-- I SAID TURN AROUND OR YOU'LL REGRET IT!" The old hag said as she interrupted Aden in a stern voice.

We both turned around and closed our eyes...

We both open our eyes to find ourselves out of the woods....

"Eh?"I said looking confused.

"Well that's that...okay let's go",said Aden as he walks out...

"Wait but we gotta find Emi--ALI!!!!!",I turned around and found a little someone who I thought I wouldn't see for a while....
