Chapter 11

Gina's POV

I woke up with Nini in my arms to a soft knocking.

"Nini, sweetie are you in there?" Nini's mom Momma C voice said from the other side.

"She's in here Mrs. Salazar-Roberts. She's asleep at the moment," I told her mother.

"Hi, Gina," She said. I could tell she was trying to hide the fact she was laughing at the fact I was over yet again. "And please dear call me Carol. Are you staying for dinner?"

"If it's no bother," I told her.

"Of course it's no bother. You're always welcome here." She said.

I loved Nini's moms. They always made me feel so welcome here. I was always happy to come over.

I caught myself staring at my girlfriend as she slept. Call me creepy all you want but she was so cute even when she was sleep. I smiled to myself, I'm so glad I got out of my own ass and realized that I wanted to be with Nini and not be enemies with her. The girl in question was currently sleeping with her mouth parted slightly soft snores coming out of her mouth. I was so lucky she was mine. She had me wrapped around her finger and I'd do anything for her.

I began to absentmindedly play with her hair as she slept. I thought about how I finally got the courage to ask her out

Flashback

I was laying on Nini's bed as she sat next to me as she strummed a new song she'd been working on, on her ukulele. I listened intently loving the way her voice sound and how good she was at playing ukulele.

"How'd you like it?" She asked me after finishing playing. I pretended to think for a minute before answering her.

"I loved it," I told her. She smiled in response. "You're such an amazing player."

"Thanks, it feels good to finally write about myself and not others," She told me sighing.

"What do you mean?" I asked her curious.

"I call this All I Want," She said before playing a different song.

"All I want is love that lasts" kept playing in my head the whole time.

"All you want is love that lasts," I told her.

"Yeah, I was a bit dramatic after things didn't work out with Ricky or E.J.," She confessed to me.

"Well, I always get what I want," I told her closing the gap between us.

"And what do you want Ms. Gina?" She breathed out.

"You, I want you Nini," I admitted.

"And are you sure you always get what you want?" She questioned.

"Oh, I'm positive," I told her smirking before kissing her. To my relief she kissed back.

"Nini-" Her mom Dana called. "Oh, I see you're busy."

Nini and I pulled apart and both blushed bright red. Her mom just shook her head and laughed at us. She walked away no doubt going to tell her wife what she just witnessed.

"Nini Salazar-Roberts will you do me the honors of being my girlfriend?" I asked her our foreheads touching.

"I'd love the honor Gina Porter," She responded a big goofy grin on her face.

"You guys are so cute," Her mom yelled from the other room. Nini and I just looked at each other and laughed before kissing again.

"What you thinking about?" Nini's voice rang out disrupting my thoughts. She rubbed her eyes sleepily looking at me.

"Us, and how I got what I wanted," I told her.

"Did you ever think it was me who actually wanted you?" She told me.

"Hmm maybe, it would make sense since you are a brat," I told her teasing her.

Nini rolled her eyes and kissed my cheek.

"Nini, Gina come down and eat!" Nini's mom Carol called up to us.

"Race you," I told Nini

"Oh you're on," She told me smirking running out the room.
